Raven let an internal groan out as he woke up confused on where he was, but it quickly came to him, he had passed out in the hospital wing after arriving.
Yesterday had been something. He had an evolution, he could still feel it settling down, almost complete, he was still exhausted though, but he didn't feel the need to sleep constantly like he had earlier this year for a while.
He focused and noticed he hadn't reverted back to his true form, so that was good. With a hum of dry amusement at what happened, he turned into a crow and flew out the window.
He had much to think about.
"Not a game anymore?" He shivered as he flew thinking about that bloody smile looking up at him as he caught her. The question haunting him.
He began to truly think, actually focus on himself mentally and how he was changing.
He was a dick, but he wasn't more then a sarcastic asshole who might use illusions and funny pranks to annoy you. Yet now, he saw no difference between pranks and torture.
He played too much. He let fights get drawn out. Let things he shouldn't have, get drawn out.
He was becoming cruel, and he couldn't find himself caring all that much, and it worried him. Why did he change so much? What caused the change to become like this.
He decided it was because of whatever evolution or change he went under. What was it truly?
His body had changed into something else. The dawn energy inside of him felt calmer, much easier to draw on. Before it hadn't been hard, but it did require conscious effort to do so.
Now though? It came like an excited puppy happy to play, to do his bidding and command. His mana also flowed much smoother. His magic circuts carried less weight to them and the pain lessened. His cores hummed in eagerness, ready to be called upon.
With a single flap of his wings, he flew down into the forbidden forest clearing he found a good bit away from the castle and changed back, immediately in his true form.
He crashed into the ground on his feet, and didn't feel a thing from it. Not a crater or even dent in the ground.
"Which doesn't make sense. I had about 50 mph of momentum built up, not to mention the change in weight should have accelerated me faster, so by all logic, a crater should have formed." Raven muttered before he walked over to a tree and round house kicked it and the tree got sent flying into the stratosphere.
"Ok, that happened. Wait, back when I emerged from whatever I had been trapped in when that change was happening, I didn't use my wings, I just flew like I was ignoring… gravity." Raven closed his eyes and took a deep breath before he started floating up.
"Ok, so it is gravity manipulation then. I was subconsciously manipulating my own gravity to make myself lighter, but I did that, so I should have floated away by now, or perhaps I'm manipulating my gravity in such a way that while my body is light, the weight is still present in some way to keep me down, or maybe a minor subconscious use of telekinesis to keep me how I am." Raven muttered as he floated upwards without stopping.
He only noticed when he started entering space and blinked, he didn't need to breath air currently, no that wasn't correct.
His lungs were holding such a capacity of air, he felt like he wasn't needing to breath.
"How interesting." He mused before he canceled the gravity manipulation, he could feel it like a switch and flipped it as he started plumiting down like a meteor.
"Hm, if I open my wings now, I wonder where I will end up?" Raven mused to himself before he did just that and let his wings spread as he began gliding at fast speeds under an illusion spell.
Another thing to note, his wings somehow prevented a sonic boom from happening as he moved.
"Wait no, I was focusing on my mental issues-" Raven suddenly saw darkness before he passed out.
If he had been awake, he'd notice that he landed in some random mountains away from civilization, he'd be glad for it when he awoke.

Raven opened his eyes, however in that moment his mind felt so much clearer, lighter. The hatred of almost everything not pulsating inside of him anymore.
He felt freeer then he ever had in a long time.
However the area he was in though… he didn't want to be here, but he couldn't access his magic. Not even the denial of nothingness worked.
"So I'm inside my soul again, and where I spent my childhood huh?" Raven said with a fake smile. "It still sucks." Raven laughed joylessly as he moved forward.
The only reassurance for him was that he retained his true form, but he didn't feel like flying right now.
"Waaaaa! Waaaaaa!" Raven paused as he heard the sound of crying and moved with a slightly faster pace. Turning a corner he stared at the face of the orphanage he spent 13 years in, well more like 12 with his life.
However this scene felt familiar, very familiar. The orphanage didn't have such lively plants… he only saw those plants when he saw baby him… kidnapped…
"Oh, it's me." He muttered as he knelt down and gently picked up the crying child and stared into familiar blue eyes, free of pain.
However suddenly the area changed, he was now in an abandoned church of all places, blood stains covered the area, laying in the middle of a ritual circle with dead eyes was younger him, most likely about eight years old.
"So this is what they meant." Raven heard younger him say and blinked at what was said. "I really am loosing it, haha."
"Not so much, just one hell of a soul trip because I'm helpless at solving my mental issues like a responsible person should." Older Raven said with a laugh. It was hollow.
"Then do we need to suffer more?" Younger Raven asked and he smiled as he knelt down.
(Ok, so I've decided for this bit I'm going to use nicknames to make this easier on me, I'm not an author who cares for word count.
Current Raven = Raven.
Baby Raven = Baby R.
Eight year old Raven = Inanis)
"Not at all." Raven lied to Inanis with as much ease as he put people in their place.
"Now we're lying to ourselves." Inanis said with a blank face and Raven smiled as he held Baby R closer to himself and offered a hand.
"Yes we are, but does that make it anymore wrong what I say?" Raven asked and Inanis stared at the ceiling before he took the hand and was absorbed into Raven.
Ravens eyes turned a slightly lighter color.
The scene shifted again to a very familiar scene, the therapy office he most recently visited and killed inside of.
Another him laid there, bloody claws holding a still beating heart in hand.
"Are we wrong for wanting revenge?" The bloody him asked with a curious look.
(Hence forth, he shall be known as Wrath)
"Is it?" Raven asked Wrath as he took a seat on the blood free couch in the room and sat baby him on his lap.
"Should I feel wrong for it?" Wrath asked with a smile filled with bloody teeth.
"No, after all, if we felt wrong for everyone we killed, we'd die of emotional constipation and brain aneurysm." Raven said after a moment of thinking. "However, perhaps it's time we let go of all the rage inside of us. The hatred against humanity, and ourselves."
"Do we get better?" Wrath asked hopefully and Raven smiled softly.
"No, but I think we will one day. We will be free and happy one day." Raven said softly as he stood up and hugged Wrath to his chest.
"I hope that day comes soon, for our sake. Our life sucks." Wrath said with a laugh before breaking into motes of light and being absorbed.
Raven's eye bags became lighter.
The scene shifted again, but this time it was of almost present day him scowling at everyone as he sat on the rafters of the great hall.
(Hence forth he is Soul)
"Why should we let them live?" Soul asked as he held a knife in hand, Raven only titled his head as he sat down on a beam across from Soul.
"Why should they die?" Raven asked in return.
"Humanity is scum. All they do is pollute the planet, destroy things. Kill each other. Cause issues." Soul started listing off a bunch of things.
"Perhaps so, but can we say we haven't done at least some of those things. We've killed many people, mostly dead apostles, but we still did so. Did they deserve the right to die by existing? Do the twins deserve to die for merely being alive?" Raven asked as he dead eyed stared Soul with a chill smile.
"No, yes, no… what is the answer?" Soul asked and Raven hummed.
"What is the answer you want to hear? What is the answer we need?" Raven retorted back with a frown.
"I don't know." Soul admitted after ten minutes of silence.
"Then that is fine. Perhaps we need to understand it one thing at a time. We are far from perfect, especially mentally. Perhaps what we need to do, is relax, spend time with those precious to us and learn to live a happy life. We're no longer that weak little boy, we'd powerful and free to choose what we want." Raven said as he hopped over and knelt down to Soul.
"I think it's time we learnt to start caring for ourself and others." Raven said as he held Soul close to him who started breaking apart into motes of light.
"Yeah, I think we'll be happy that way." Soul said softly as he fully became lights and was absorbed into Raven.
Ravens hair became smooth.
The scene shifted, and there was no new Raven, but it was of a very familiar nursery. The one he didn't even spend a full night in.
With a smile he moved forward and gently placed Baby R into the crib covered in runes.
"Mom loved us, I could never forget those eyes as she held and looked at us, but perhaps it's time we accept the truth." Raven said to himself with a sad smile.
"We may never meet her again, perhaps one day we will, but I think we need to just accept it, and move on. So what do you say, wanna become happy?" Raven asked with a wide smile as he held his hand out.
Baby noises were made as Baby R held a clawed hand out and Raven grabbed it with a smile before everything went up in light.

Raven sat up with a startle as he looked around before laying on the ground and breaking out into laughter. Joyfull laughter and happier then he'd been in a long while.
"I just gave myself therapy in the soul, man I have issues. Oh well, I guess I can try to be happy for once and let everything go." Raven said as he sat up and stretched, his body felt sore from the position he had been in.
With a small amount of magic, he held a orb in hand and then threw it with all his strength, then five seconds later multiple mountains blew up.
"I should have probably checked if those mountains were uninhabited… time to run!" Raven said before he took on his crow form and flew off in a blinding speed no crow should have access too.

Raven landed at Hogwarts and sensed for Rose's magical signature, he had a lot to apologize for, and he would start with her.
He frowned as he sensed her with the poofs in the poofs office. He felt something was wrong so he moved forward diving into a window and flying towards their location.
He reached the door and changed into a human form and quickly moved up the steps into the office spot of the defense room and froze as he kicked the door open, Rose was bound to the table naked and screaming soundlessly as Lockhart stood naked and ready to penetrate her.
Raven wandlessly pulled the man back and immediately freed Rose as he created a blanket and wrapped it around her.
"Obliv-" Lockhart was cut off by Raven suddenly appearing in front of him and landing the haymaker of haymakers. The poof fell to the ground knocked out.
"Are you-" Raven was cut off as Rose clung to him tightly crying.
"Don't leave me!" She sobbed out and Raven held her tight.
"I won't." He promised as he glared at Lockhart and cursed him several times over with everything he could think of.
Impotence
Erectile Disfunction
Constant Pain
Unquenchable Thirst
Constant Hangover
Illness (5x)
Unable to Lie
Haunting Music
The list just went on and on. He only stopped when the door was slammed open, again, by a panting and sweating Minerva McGonagall.
"Deal with this mind tampering rapist or I will, and it will not be lawful, or pleasant for anyone, but myself." Raven snarled out as McGonagall went wide eye before she conjured a blanket to cover the soon to be probably dead man, and then floated him away.
"He-he-he almost-" Rose just couldn't finish her sentence as she kept crying away.
"I know, but he'll never be able to do that again. Come on, let's get you a bath and some clean warm clothes for you." Raven said gently as he slowly picked her up bridal style and walked out the area.
•~~~~•
Inside the office, a being seemingly made of fire appeared, and what looked like a snarl on its face before everything besides a few select items in the room started burning.
The only items left were personal journals written by Lockhart and his books.
The being vanished soon after.
The fire never burned anything besides the items, the room was fine.
It would be a mystery to everyone.

Raven sat with his eyes closed on the side of a bath tub as Rose just sat in there clutching his hand extremely tightly, he could actually feel a slight creaking of his bones from it, but he didn't say anything.
"Do you want to hear a story?" Raven asked Rose who turned to him, and nodded, but realized his eyes were closed before letting out a very quiet yes.
"I supposed it all started fifteen years ago, a woman went into labor." Raven began with a smile.
