Chapter 83 - Ms Marvel

From the control room high above the gamma prison, The Leader watched the chaos unfold like a master chess player eyeing a final move.

"Wasp... put the good doctor out of his misery," he ordered coldly, adjusting the glowing crown that linked his mind to hers.

Below, Gamma Wasp's eyes glowed with unnatural fury. With a shriek, she launched at Dr. Samson, claws extended. But before she could strike, a flash of lightning split the air.

CLANG!

Thor intercepted the blow with Mjolnir, standing firm. "You shall not harm him, creature!" he roared, driving her back.

The brief victory was short-lived.

Regenerating from previous blows, the villains regrouped. A wave of gamma-charged enemies surged forward, forcing the battered Avengers to retreat.

"We're down to four," Cap muttered, grimacing through the pain. "And they've still got nine standing."

Iron Man scanned the battlefield, HUD flashing warnings. "We can't win this head-on," he said quickly. "Everyone—run for the generator!"

The team began to move, but Black Panther stopped, scanning the environment.

"I'll find the Leader," he said, voice calm and firm. "And end this from the top."

Thor met his eyes and nodded. "Find him. I'll hold the line."

With that, Black Panther veered off, vanishing into the shadows. Meanwhile, Iron Man and Captain America charged at the enemy, their attacks precise and relentless, drawing attention away from Thor and Samson.

But just as Thor and Samson neared the generator chamber, a new threat emerged—the Wrecking Crew, now enhanced by Gamma Boosters, smashed through a wall, blocking the path.

"Of course they've got backup," Samson muttered.

"We push through!" Thor shouted, swinging Mjolnir into battle.

The fight was brutal. Blasts, punches, lightning, and grit lit up the chamber. In the chaos, Black Panther, moving like a shadow, slipped past the fight unnoticed. He reached the generator room, claws glowing faintly.

With one clean strike, he slashed the core.

BOOM!

The lights flickered. The energy field collapsed. The gamma surge ended.

A wave of silence followed.

"Finally," Steve breathed, shoulders sagging. "Everything's over…"

He glanced around, eyes narrowing with resolve. "Now we just need to find and capture the Leader."

Outside The Cube, atop a ruined structure overlooking the city, the Leader stood beside Absorbing Man and Abomination, his hands clasped behind his back, eyes gleaming with dark triumph.

"Such beautiful chaos," he murmured, lips curling into a satisfied smirk.

With a flick of his wrist, he pressed a button on his device. A deep hum resonated through the air as a new Gamma Dome shimmered to life, spreading like a virus over the city skyline.

Inside the dome, a sickly green glow bathed everything in gamma radiation. One by one, the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents clutched their heads, groaning in pain as the transformation began again. Muscles bulged, skin turned green or gray, and snarls replaced voices—they were becoming Gamma Monsters once more.

From the shadows, Hawkeye stepped into view, gripping Black Widow by the arm. Her wrists were bound, but her glare was sharp as ever.

"Since the Avengers were inside the dome, it seemed hopeless," Natasha said coldly, watching the monster versions of Avengers rampaging below. "You've seen what it does. They won't last long."

Hawkeye's eyes, filled with conflict and purpose, met hers. "No," he said quietly. "There's still one person who can stop this."

Natasha narrowed her eyes. "You mean…"

"Hulk," Hawkeye confirmed. "If anyone can survive the dome and take the fight to the Leader, it's him."

Without another word, he left Natasha secured but safe, disappearing into the shadows with his bow at the ready.

His mission was clear—break into General Ross's compound, find Bruce Banner, and unleash the only force powerful enough to shatter the dome and save the city from the brink of destruction.

As the eerie green hue of the Gamma Dome washed over Las Vegas, Ben watched from afar, his expression darkening. The chaos was spreading—innocent people, transformed into monsters.

"I have to intervene," he muttered, jaw clenched.

With a spark of green energy flickering across his skin, he activated the alien power within him. The

Omnitrix, now fully merged with his body, responded instantly to his will.

In a flash, Ben materialized in front of The Leader. The villain staggered back, momentarily stunned.

"Who—who are you? Why haven't you turned into a Gamma Monster like the others?" The Leader demanded, eyes narrowing. "You're like Thor… immune."

Ben's eyes glowed faintly as he replied, "It's not right to turn the citizens of Las Vegas into Gamma Monsters."

With a murmur, he summoned the strength of Humungousaur.

His massive form casting a long shadow over the villain.

With a single, thunderous punch, Ben knocked The Leader unconscious, slamming him into the pavement.

He turned to face Absorbing Man, who stepped forward with a sneer, morphing his arms into steel. "You're next," Ben said.

What followed was a brutal but efficient fight—Ben's raw power overwhelming Absorbing Man.

He couldn't help but notice how the Absorbing Man's powers reminded him of his old friend Kevin Eleven.

Just then, Hawkeye and Hulk arrived, stunned at the sight.

"Did he… just one-punch The Leader?" Hawkeye blinked.

"Not bad," Hulk rumbled, folding his arms.

The only one left standing was Abomination, visibly shaken by what he'd just witnessed.

"You handle him," Ben said, nodding at Hulk. "I've got bigger things to fix."

He turned his attention to the transformed heroes and villains—Iron Man, Giant Man, Steve, Wasp, Black Panther, and more. He carefully fought them without causing harm, subduing each one.

After the battle, Thor stepped forward. "Is there a way to return them to their true forms?"

Ben shrunk back to normal size. "Let me handle it, Gutrut," he said, smirking.

Ben studied the gamma-induced mutations, synthesizing a cure in real-time. He released a gentle mist from his breath—an airborne antidote that washed over the city, purging the gamma influence and restoring everyone to normal.

The Avengers watched in awe.

"Who is this guy?" Stark whispered.

But before anyone could press for answers, Ben had already flown away, disappearing into the distance and returning to his villa.

Hawkeye blinked, still processing. "That guy... who even was that?"

The Hulk grinned. "Whoever he is, I'll rejoin the Avengers—on one condition: you're in too."

---

Meanwhile, deep in the desert, Abomination regrouped with Zemo and the Masters of Evil. He pulled off his mask, revealing his face.

"Call me Emil Blonsky," he said, his voice low and ominous.

Back at his villa, Ben watched events unfold on a holographic display, he found himself immersed in yet another adventure within this mysterious corner of this Universe.

Hank Pym and Jan walked side by side through the observatory's main corridor, hoping for a quiet moment with Major Carol Danvers after a long day.

Suddenly, the sky lit up.

A fiery object tore through the clouds and streaked toward the observatory, crashing into the nearby field with a thunderous impact. The ground shook beneath their feet, and windows rattled violently.

Hank's expression turned grave. "That didn't look like any meteor I've seen," he muttered.

"What the heck is that?" Jan muttered, shielding her eyes.

The object slammed into the ground nearby with a deafening crash, shaking the entire observatory. Dust and sparks flew.

"Jan, this is getting out of hand," Hank said, pulling her back. "We need to figure out how to stop whatever that is."

Suddenly, without warning, blasts of green energy lit up the air—piercing beams striking the walls and ground around them. Screams echoed as scientists scrambled for cover.

"Where's it coming from?" Carol barked, already pulling Jan behind a console for safety.

Then, like a ghost phasing into reality, the source appeared. A massive alien robot emerged from thin air, its armor gleaming under the moonlight. Its arms whirred as it charged up another volley of green energy bolts.

Hank narrowed his eyes. "It's not targeting anyone specifically… it's just attacking everything."

"That thing's rogue," Jan said, her voice tense. "We need to shut it down—fast."

Carol stepped forward, firm and fearless. "No time. We need to get everyone out—now!" She turned toward the technicians and staff still frozen in fear. "Evacuate the building! Move!"

Alarms blared as the evacuation began. The robot let out a mechanical roar, its eyes glowing brighter.

Despite the chaos, Ant-Man and Wasp refused to back down. They darted through the battlefield, dodging green energy blasts as the alien robot—the Sentry—continued its rampage.

"We need to draw its fire!" Ant-Man shouted, shrinking mid-leap and reappearing behind the robot's leg. "Jan, hit the circuits behind its neck!"

"On it!" Wasp replied, firing a volley of bio-stings at the exposed joint. Sparks flew, but the Sentry barely flinched.

Then, without warning, a violent explosion rocked the ground. The shockwave sent Carol Danvers flying into a wall with a thud.

"Carol!" Jan screamed, rushing to her side.

As dust settled and silence followed the blast, a voice rang out—calm, clear, and commanding.

"I am Mar-Vell, a Kree Captain." The figure stepped into view, his eyes glowing faintly. "Earth's location is vital in our war against the Skrulls. That Sentry was sent to eliminate potential threats. If necessary... it would've used a Nega-Bomb."

Gasps followed. The weight of his words sank in. A bomb capable of planetary destruction—already deployed on Earth.

Hank clenched his fists. "You're telling me that thing could wipe out half the planet?!"

"It was never meant to be this way," Mar-Vell said solemnly. "The Sentry malfunctioned. It no longer follows orders."

Carol groaned and pushed herself up, blood on her brow. "We stop it. Together."

Mar-Vell turned to her, surprised. "Even after knowing who I am?"

"You're not the problem. That thing is." She pointed at the Sentry, now powering up again.

The Avengers gathered—Carol, Ant-Man, Wasp, and even Mar-Vell, now standing as an ally.

"We can't let that Sentry set off the Nega-Bomb," Jan said, voice steady.

"Then let's end this," Hank added, his helmet locking into place.

With determination etched on every face, they surged forward as one.

The battlefield was chaos—flashes of light, roaring explosions, and screams of determination echoed across the shattered terrain.

A barrage of plasma projectiles streaked through the air, locking onto Wasp. She darted, weaving through them with incredible speed, but one shot was dead-on.

"Jan, look out!" Ant-Man shouted.

Without hesitation, he leapt in front of her. The blast hit him square in the chest, knocking him backward. He hit the ground hard, unmoving.

"Hank!" Jan cried, rushing to him, eyes wide with panic.

Bloodied but conscious, Hank coughed, managing a weak grin.

"Told you I've got your back..."

Tears welled in her eyes, but she pushed them down. Gritting her teeth, Jan flew straight toward the Sentry, her wings blurring. Guided by instinct and rage, she found the tiny breach in its armor—the weak point exposed thanks to relentless strikes from Iron Man and Captain America earlier.

"Let's see how tough you are on the inside," she muttered.

She fired a concentrated bio-blast and shot through the gap, disabling the internal systems. The Sentry staggered.

That was Hulk's cue.

"BIG green coming through!" he roared, leaping high and slamming both fists into the Sentry's chest. The metal caved in with a thunderous crunch.

As the robot shuddered and sparks erupted from within, Mar-Vell's communicator buzzed.

"Captain Mar-Vell, this is High Command. The Sentry is compromised. Prepare Earth for invasion."

His eyes narrowed. He knew what that meant: they were going to drop the Nega-Bomb.

"No. I won't let Earth be destroyed for our war," Mar-Vell said quietly.

He turned to the heroes.

"They won't stop unless I take the bomb myself… into deep space."

Carol stood, shaky but determined. "That's suicide."

"It's necessary."

He launched into the sky, streaking toward the clouds—until lightning cracked across the heavens.

"Not today," came a booming voice. Thor descended from the storm, cape billowing, Mjolnir charged with fury.

"You are not alone in this, Kree." He hurled his hammer, channeling its power into a vortex that stabilized the bomb's core. Together, he and Mar-Vell redirected it out of Earth's orbit.

A dazzling light engulfed the horizon as the Nega-Bomb detonated harmlessly in space.

Silence followed.

Then Carol stirred, golden energy crackling around her. She hovered slightly above the ground, her body glowing with newfound power.

"What... what's happening to me?"

Mar-Vell smiled. "The energy awakened something within you. You are... more than human now."

"Ms. Marvel," Carol whispered to herself, feeling the strength surge within.

Far away, in his villa, Ben leaned back on his couch, watching it all unfold through the upgraded, high-definition screen.

"So, in this timeline, Carol becomes Ms. Marvel instead of Captain Marvel. Interesting twist," he mused, sipping his drink. His eyes scanned the screen as the Avengers gathered at their damaged headquarters.

"Let's see how they handle what comes next."
