- Felix -
With a flap of her wings, Milim gained some distance between us, a shockwave of air cascading around us. She was looking at me with a light of seriousness that I had never seen come from her before.
I had a feeling that I would soon be finding out the true terror of The Destroyer, Milim Nava.
Even now, despite the dimension-rendering power we had hit each other with, I could tell that Milim was still holding something back, and I knew exactly what that was, she had yet to use Satanael after all.
It was horrifying to consider that Milim was easily keeping up with me and she hadn't even used her biggest strength multiplier, nor had she used Stardust.
Milim is a nepo baby!
I could feel a Wrathful Aura begin to release off Milim as she began drawing on Satanael's power.
I'd be worried about her going berserk, but I trust her enough to know when to stop.
Milim's smile became more and more wild as she grew stronger and stronger.
The way Satanael's Stampede worked was that the Wrath Energy fuels the user and increases their overall stats. It was just the nature of Wrath Energy to do so, just like how Love Energy's main function dealt with lifeforce.
I watched as Milim's armor began to change, infused with Wrath Energy. Her previously sleek armor started to thicken, its surface becoming more rugged and menacing. Dark, intricate markings appeared under her eyes.
Her armor, which was already impressive, now looked nearly indestructible, its durability was clearly greatly enhanced by the Wrath Energy. The black and red hues of her armor deepened, and crimson veins of energy pulsed through it, giving it a dynamic, almost living appearance.
Milim's horn grew longer, its sharpness gleaming with an off putting sheen. Her claws extended and took on a pinkish tint, becoming more pronounced. Her wings seemed to darken, and her tail became more robust, accentuated with red and white stripes.
"I highly suggest that you back off now, Master, the amount of power Milim Nava is releasing is absurd."
'Can you calculate her EP?'
"Not precisely, but it is easily over 100,000,000."
Well, damn, but I'm not backing off now, I wanted a good fight, and now I'm getting it.
"Ugh, idiot."
'Hey!'
- Othinus -
She already knew what her Master would say in response to her suggestion; he was far too prideful and stubborn to back off now, but she at least wished to try warning her Master off.
It wasn't like she had zero confidence in beating or stalling out Milim Nava; it's just that in the midst of battle, there were many factors that could not be accounted for, and she did not wish for her Master to be in any danger, the easiest way to keep him safe in this situation was for him to back off from this fight entirely.
Milim Nava had inherited a portion of the strength of Veldanava, and her true power showcased that very well.
Othinus still had a variety of plans in mind to subdue Milim Nava should she turn into an enemy, Milim Nava could always be sealed, which was something Othinus was growing more and more experienced in, sealing such a strong being can be quite a difficult task, so she was working on reaching a sufficient enough level in the art of sealing that she could deal with Milim Nava. Should Milim Nava turn into an enemy then Othinus will be prepared.
Her Master shared a Soul Corridor with Milim Nava, and while Othinus was connected to Milim Nava, she felt the feelings she felt for her Master and knew that it was nigh-impossible for Milim to betray her Master, but better safe than sorry.
She had installed a backup plan as well when she was modifying Satanael to allow Magicule Breeder Reactor more freedom, she had installed a limitation into the Skill, which was only possible due to Milim Nava consenting to the Skill modification, or else Othinus would not have had enough Energy to forcefully install such a thing.
This limitation limited Satanael's powers if Milim Nava ever came at her Master with the intent to kill, she could not install anything more, or else Milim Nava would likely feel the difference in her Skill, even now Othinus was sure Milim Nava could feel something was off, but she likely just thought that it was due to the modifications made to Magicule Breeder Reactor.
Milim Nava liked to play the fool, but she was terrifyingly wise, and now her idiot Master was so eager to fight that monster.
Milim was far stronger than her Master thought, strong enough that even with everything they had, she was not certain that they would survive a truly angry Milim Nava. Her Master believed himself to be on equal ground with her, and perhaps he was, but should a fight between them in which they truly went at each other with the intent to kill, Othinus would be very worried for her Master's survival. The only thing that would guarantee it is making use of his dimensional travel capabilities.
Milim Nava could take Satanael further than her Master could, meaning eventually she would surpass her Master in raw power.
She was created and born to serve at her Master's whims, but why couldn't he ever make her job easy?
She truly loved him, but he could make her life so difficult, she could see why so many others were annoyed by him so often.
Stubborn fool.
- Felix -
I guess it's about time I begin using Satanael as well. I haven't used it since I gained the Dragon Factors since I haven't needed it, but for the first time, I'm finding that more Energy may be needed.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I felt myself grow angry, the Wrath Energy infused into my being as it strengthened me.
I brushed off the sudden rush in anger I felt, completely used to controlling the emotion and locking it away.
"I will be able to make sure you do not lose control if you wish to push the limits of Satanael Master."
'Got it, I'll keep that in mind.'
Yamato gained a coating of red on it as the Wrath Energy from Satanael strengthened my weapon as well at the cost of making the blade's Energy more chaotic temporarily.
"Your EP has surpassed 100,000,000." Othinus informed.
'I can feel it.'
The amount of Energy within me was staggering, I felt like I could destroy this entire planet with a stomp, a thought that was likely pretty accurate. And this wasn't even 20% of Satanael, at least my Satanael. I was pretty sure that Milim's Satanael boosted her higher than mine did due to her higher compatibility with the Skill. I had a Manas to boost up my compatibility to a level that I could make use of Satanael as if it were my own Ultimate Skill, but Milim was practically born to wield it.
Satanael had an upper limit that it could boost us to in theory, but we weren't even close to it right now. It would also take quite some time to reach that state. My own upper limit had increased a bit as I had a stronger body so I could withstand more power.
Despite the Barriers I had placed earlier in the battle, the planet trembled under our combined auras that leaked through the Barrier, perhaps I should reinforce the Barriers, even the Barriers around the spectators weren't stable enough since our Auras were distorting Space-Time itself a part of our Aura could breach through the Multi-Dimensional Barrier.
I snapped my fingers placing a few more Barriers over the planet to help contain our Energy from the rest of this dimension, as well as stabilize the planet further and reinforce the Barriers around the spectators.
The Barriers I placed around the planet to help boost up its durability were strong enough to easily block a constant stream of meteors for hundreds of thousands of years without even straining the Barrier.
That should hopefully be enough to make sure the planet doesn't blow up.
The entire dimension seemed to shudder as the Barriers formed, as if it was on the verge of collapsing already and Milim and I's power only accelerated the process.
It's a damn good thing there isn't any intelligent life in this dimension, and that it's a small one.
"Hahaha, let's go Felix!" Milim growled out, still maintaining control over herself.
I nodded, my Energy was still increasing but that's fine.
'105,000,000.'
Now that we both had our power ups we could resume our fight. Of course, the reason we let each other power up is for the rule of cool! You can't interrupt someone's power up, that's just disrespectful!
Well, unless they're an enemy, fuck the rules when you're dealing with an enemy.
I'm looking at you, Yuuki!
I focused back on Milim, her Energy was still steadily rising to very very worrisome levels, thankfully my own was also rising to match hers.
I had a feeling that this dimension may not survive this fight of ours, both Milim and I's EP were over 100,000,000, our respective outputs also growing, the only reason this dimension was still standing was due to me diverting some of my power to maintain the Barriers, or else this dimension would have long gone poof.
Weaker universes couldn't even survive the Aura released by stronger beings, let alone Milim and I.
"Get ready then Milim, I'm going to stop holding back a bit." I intoned softly.
Milim smirked with confidence. "Oh yeah? Let's see what you got then Felix!" She roared out in challenge.
Throughout this entire fight I hadn't been using one of my greatest strengths and resources, my Skills and the various Magics that I knew.
We had been using our fists and now we were using our weapons, but Magic and Skills was where I truly shined. I didn't have a literal armory of Ultimate Skills to choose from for nothing.
- Raiden -
"Is Lady Milim truly going to go to this extent?" Middray muttered worryingly.
All three of them shuddered as they felt a miniscule wave of power penetrate through the Barrier her Master had placed around them before her Master further reinforced the Barrier isolating them from the outside world completely.
She knew for a fact that they had felt only a fraction of the Aura present in the outside world, her instincts warned her that if she stepped outside of this Barrier for even a millisecond, she would be erased by the Aura alone.
"I had thought I had understood how powerful Milim was, but it seems I was wrong." Commented Frey nonchalantly.
It seems like the fight Frey and watched had broken her world view entirely, and now she just had a hard time getting surprised.
As expected of her Master.
Raiden looked at Middray curiosity. "Just what is it that Lady Milim is doing? It looks like my Master is replicating it as well."
"I have no idea how Lord Felix is replicating what Lady Milim is doing, but she is using her Skill which increases her power exponentially. However, she slowly loses her sanity as a cost." Middray explained grimly.
"Stampede…." Muttered Frey.
Middray nodded. "That's right, the form Lady Milim is in is the one she was in when she fought the Lord of Darkness above what is now known as the Holy Void of Damargania."
"What a terrifying ability." Frey lamented.
Middray nodded. "It truly is, I do not know why Lady Milim chose to activate that Skill of hers, perhaps she was just as eager for a fight with someone she could go all out in."
"And Felix is supposed to fight that?" Frey turned to her. "Are you not worried for your Master?" Frey asked in curiosity.
Raiden huffed. "Of course not, do you see the look on his face?"
Hearing her, Frey turned to look at her Master closer. "Is he… smiling."
Raiden nodded. "He is, he is having fun, I am sure that if he was worried he would stop the fight here and now. If my Master is confident, then who am I to doubt his abilities. Lady Milim is powerful; she is the only person I have ever seen push my Master to this extent, but I am certain that he has a plan."
- Felix -
Should I make a plan?
Nah, let's just wing it.
I could feel Othinus' disappointment.
"I suppose that is why you have me, to do all the planning for you…."
'Exactly!'
Truly an ideal partnership, I'm the muscle and Othinus is the brains.
I could feel the Aura around Milim sharpening, it doesn't surprise me that she has Sword Ki, if I and Hakurou have Sword Ki, then Milim fuckin Nava sure as hell has it.
Milim appeared in front of me in the blink of an eye, her sword aimed straight for my neck, we weren't playing games anymore so I allowed Infinity to work to its full effect, but Milim's weapon tore straight through Infinity as it distorted and ripped Space apart, the sheer speed she was moving made it inefficient to focus on repairing the Space around us.
I met Milim's weapon with my own, enhancing the power behind it by manipulating Gravity. Our clash shook the world as our anger fueled us further.
"Rahh!" Milim yelled as one of her clawed hands made a swipe for my face.
I quickly shifted out of the way as I bent Space to appear behind Milim, quickly drop kicking her in the back sending her flying through another nearby mountain.
Now it was time to begin drawing on all the other abilities I have, with Brahma I could elevate any Skill I had analyzed up to the Ultimate level, and use Ultimate Skills I have analyzed up to 80% of their power.
Through Brahma I began calling upon Metatron's power. Metatron was a very broken Skill, it increased the user's energy regeneration rate by hundreds of times, what would normally take over a week to regenerate will be done in minutes with Metatron, efficiency was something Metatron specialized in.
Other than that, it could purify energy into its purest state, I considered it to be the superior version of Holy Magic.
Even with all that, it's main ability was the most terrifying of all, it allowed the user to control Spiritrons like no other could, turning the user into an embodiment of destruction practically.
The only real drawback was that it caused massive amounts of damage to the area around the user, but I didn't need to worry about collateral damage in this dimension, not to mention that Othinus could probably modify the Skill/data if I wished for her to.
"That is correct, due to the sheer amount of data I possess on Spiritrons, it is possible for me to evolve Metatron, Lord of Purity, entirely giving the user far more control over Spiritrons, but something like that is not necessary for you since you are using the Skill through Brahma, Lord of Creation. I have already made subtle modifications that allow you to control Spiritrons much more freely, so even in the Cardinal World, you do not need to worry about accidentally causing collateral damage."
'Great, thanks.'
I smirked as Milim roared as she burst through the mountain.
"Stop flinging me through mountains!" She yelled.
"Make me." I taunted.
Milim growled in anger.
It seems Satanael was still affecting her to some extent, but it's fine. Probably.
As Milim was preparing to rush me, I created a gigantic magic circle that suddenly appeared in the sky with a dazzling shimmer. Light began pouring down onto the planet, a light of death and destruction.
"Shining Meteor!" I chanted out.
After I had replicated and surpassed Madara's meteor feat I created a method to mimic the exact same thing but in a much more controlled manner, a spell that didn't result in the destruction of the planet but was still fairly impressive.
I knew this wouldn't really harm Milim, but I still wanted to try it out on her.
Over a thousand large meteors descended upon the planet, their purpose pure destruction. This was a certified army killer. Regeneration wouldn't help if someone's entire body was blown to bits. The area of effect was immense, leaving no place to run. Mortals of the Cardinal World would be helpless against it.
This magic was classified as Dark Magic, drawing from the void of the deepest realm of the Daemon Realm. I used this void to create imaginary meteorites and summon them. The imaginary matter became real under the laws of physics, lasting just long enough to destroy the enemy.
Thanks to this, my Shining Meteor Spell had reached the Ultimate level, capable of harming even Ultimate Awakened beings.
Milim looked up at the incoming meteorites with calm confidence. Large chunks of the meteors crashed around her, my barriers on the planet absorbing the impact.
I winced slightly as the majority of the landscape around us was completely destroyed.
I rolled my eyes as Milim punched out towards some of the incoming meteors, erasing them from the sheer shockwaves of her punch alone.
She smirked at me. "You need to do better than that Felix!" She laughed out before rushing me.
I activated Thought Acceleration to the max, giving me ample time to come up with my next move.
I ignored the rays of light I could now visibly see moving, I had a move that I had been meaning to try out.
I began purifying my own Energies and the Energy around me, converting them into Spiritrons. These Spiritrons, the purest form of Energy shimmered around me as I channeled them, drawing on the reality-rendering powers of Metatron.
Moments later, Space itself shuddered, and a hundred bright beams shot out from my body, locking onto Milim, who was still charging at me at speeds thousands of times greater than the speed of sound.
These beams, imbued with the properties of the Holy Magic Spell Disintegration and amplified by Metatron's own power, were completely unfair, a single one of these beams would be terrifying to be up against, each beam was multiple times more powerful than Hinata's Melt Slash, capable of erasing anything in their path, and yet I felt at ease using a hundred of them against Milim.
Milim was just built different.
Deactivating Thought Acceleration, the beams zoomed past me at speeds beyond most people's perception. I watched as Milim's head snapped towards the incoming beams, her reflexes sharp as she weaved to the left. Unfortunately for her, these beams were designed to follow their target, adjusting their trajectory to pursue her.
A single beam could easily disintegrate a Complete Saint, yet I knew hundreds wouldn't be enough for Milim. As the original hundred beams neared her, she roared to the heavens.
As the hundred beams of Disintegration closed in from all angles, I began using Metatron to create a hundred more beams, surrounding Milim and forming an inescapable cage of Disintegration, further trapping her.
As Milim braced for the impact and roared outwards I wondered just what she was doing.
I felt Milim release waves of Stardust, covering her entire body. My eyebrows scrunched as I analyzed her actions. Stardust was always challenging to analyze. My eyes widened as I understood what she was doing.
She was creating a Barrier out of pure Stardust, her body sparkling as the Stardust Barrier clung to her tightly. Such a Barrier must be capable of blocking nearly all forms of attack.
"Yes, it likely can. I had done some analysis on the prospect of creating a Stardust Barrier as well and have succeeded, you have not needed such a thing however so I have kept it on the backburner. The Barrier covering Milim Nava should be capable of blocking Spiritrons, as well as most other forms of attack, it offers a truly nigh-impenetrable defense."
I watched in slight amazement as the hundred beams of Disintegration disintegrated upon contact with the Stardust Barrier.
Milim smiled at me smugly, her rage no longer as visible on her face.,
"Impressive, you made me use my super duper special Barrier then." Milim said smugly.
I raised a brow. "Your super duper special Barrier?"
Milim nodded. "Yup! I haven't had to use it since the Heian Era!"
I looked at her with half-lidded eyes. Maybe giving her manga to read wasn't the best idea.
Still I believed her. Her Stardust Barrier was just straight-up broken according to my analysis. I doubt much could get past it, though I did have a good idea as to how to penetrate through it, I could always use Brahma, Lord of Creation to create a Skill specifically specialized in breaking through Milim's Stardust Barrier as long as my desires align with that wish.
At least that should be possible in theory.
I can't use Brahma to create completely new Ultimate Skills or anything since I don't have the Energy needed for that, but Unique Skills are somewhat possible, but I didn't even need to do that.
After all, Hinata had a Skill almost perfectly designed to break through Barriers, a Skill that she willed into existence through sheer spite, whether that would work on Milim's barrier was the main concern though.
I clapped. "That was amazing Milim."
Milim preened under my praise, completely suppressing Satanael's Wrathfulness. "But can you handle this?" I asked with a smirk.
I had just gotten the idea for a neat little move using Metatron.
So far from what I understood, Metatron was bullshit, it seriously turned someone into a walking god of destruction, and even 1% of its true power could easily allow Leon to contest against some of the top fighters of the Cardinal World.
I know for a fact that if Leon has true mastery over Metatron, then 1% of his power will be more than sufficient to defeat and kill Arcueid, Megumin, or Lalatina, this Skill was just that broken.
I had just sent over a hundred beams of Disintegration at Milim, each of those beams far stronger than Hinata's Melt Slash. A single one of those beams would likely make even Veldora worried. And yet I had only really scratched the surface of the potential of this Ultimate Skill
I could literally turn myself into a living font of Disintegration if I wanted to, turning anything and everything I touch into nothingness.
I had no doubts that if Leon went all out in the midst of Tempest he would be handled, but the damage and death would be catastrophic and it would be practically impossible for Tempest to discover what it had lost, Metatron was just that dangerous.
Even I was wary of Leon even though my combat prowess should be above him, in a fight against Leon there were no victors if he got a chance to go all out, though of course that changed if the fight was isolated.
Though there was the fact that Leon was Time Stop fodder, so as long as he was a Digital Lifeform I would be careful of him but I wouldn't be that bothered about him all in all.
Milim stood a fair distance away from me smugly, seemingly giving me a moment to prepare my next move.
Did Satanael make her much more cocky? Though Milim was always naturally pretty cocky, perhaps she was just letting herself act more freely than she usually would now.
It makes sense for her to be confident in her power, oh well it's my gain, I get to try out some fancy new moves and Milim gets to show off, a win-win.
With a flick of my wrist an array of Magic Circles appeared in the sky above us, each one emanating a fearsome aura that would kill lesser life forms.
One of my ideas was to create a bunch of Magic Circles in the sky above an enemy and then have beams of amped up Disintegration rain down like the wrath of god, but something like that wouldn't even scratch Milim if my earlier attack didn't, so instead I decided to do something different.
I willed the Magic Circles to fuse together, normally something like that would need an absurd amount of calculations, but I had Othinus here to do that.
'Truly have I ever told you how amazing you are, Othinus?'
"!!!! You have, but feel free to tell me again, in fact tell me daily!"
'As my queen demands.'
Truly, Othinus could be rather cute now that she was a real living being.
"I cannot be cute, I do not have a physical body Master."
'Ah, it seems you are not enlightened enough Othinus, cuteness surpasses mere physical form, cuteness is not something that can be merely constricted to physical appearance, it also relates to voice, and personality!'
"...I see."
'Besides it's not like you can't make a physical body, you've piloted a Split Body of mine in the past, realistically you could give yourself whatever body you wanted.'
"That is true, I know your tastes quite clearly as well, so perhaps…."
'Perhaps?'
"Nothing, focus on the fight in front of you Master." Othinus said in a chiding tone.
'Alright then, keep your secrets!'
I could feel Othinus' exasperation at my Lord of the Rings reference.
Brushing off the thought that perhaps flirting with my Manas wasn't the best idea I focused back on the Spell I was weaving.
With all the Magic Circles power focused into a singular massive Magic Circle I raised my arm into the air and then quickly lowered it as the Magic Circle practically came to life above Milim.
The sky lit up with a blinding radiance as the beam of Disintegration descended upon Milim, its power far more concentrated than Metatron's previous attacks.
The massive beam was large enough to engulf a True Dragon and was more than potent enough to erase a True Dragon in their entirety. If a True Dragon was hit by this I have no doubt that they would die if their defenses aren't powerful enough.
Metatron's sheer output could rival or surpass the output of a True Dragon in the right hands.
I watched as Milim was completely engulfed by the beam, she had made no move to block or dodge, no she was confident.
The beam continued past Milim and would have normally hit the earth below completely bursting through this planet, but I had already planned for that and had the Disintegration beam disperse itself after hitting its main target.
As the light faded I wasn't surprised to see Milim flying in the same place as she was before she got hit, and not looking worse for wear.
Milim looked at me, her eyes filled with respect.
I hadn't expected this attack to do any real damage to Milim, but I still wanted to try it out since I had the chance.
"Woah, that was super strong, Felix! If I didn't have my Stardust Barrier and got hit by that I'd be a goner!"
I nodded. "Yeah, it's definitely powerful."
I sighed, with Milim's nigh invincible Barrier a lot of my abilities just wouldn't be useful against Milim, sure I could try them out anyway for fun like I had with Metatron, but in the end that would be pointless.
Was this how it felt to go up against me? To know that practically none of your attacks can bypass a nigh unbreakable barrier? Infinity was different of course but I can see what kind of feelings it may inspire in my opponents.
I can sorta see how Hinata developed a new Unique Skill entirely out of spite, it was quite amusing that that very same Unique Skill could theoretically allow me to pierce through Milim's Barrier in the proper circumstances, but I wanted to save that in my back pocket for now.
Milim flexed her scimitar. "Now, let's go again!"
I nodded with a smirk. I wasn't going to say no to a sword fight with Milim.
We both dashed forward, our blades meeting in the middle of our path causing a sonic explosion to boom off of us.
- Raiden -
"Those meteors… if someone were to use that Spell above Fulbrosia my people would perish and those that do not would lose their homes." Frey muttered.
Middray nodded. "I recall hearing about a similar Spell in the past, many renowned mages attempted to use something similar to wipe out an enemy Kingdom but failed in its casting due to how difficult it is to control as well as the high magicule requirement."
"And Milim just punched straight through it." Frey sighed.
"Of course, something such as that could not harm Lady Milim!" Middray boasted.
They continued to watch as beams of light shot out towards Milim.
Raiden's eyes widened as she understood the nature of those beams, she was fairly well experienced in Holy Magic and could even cast Disintegration herself, but to do what her Master did would be impossible for her, she wouldn't even imagine something like what he was doing.
A single one of those Disintegration beams would erase her from existence, and yet her Master had sent one hundred at Lady Milim and didn't seem to be worried for her safety.
It didn't take long for Raiden to understand why.
"Lord Felix is truly pushing Lady Milim hmm?" Middray commented.
"What is that barrier, Middray?! A single one of those beams would kill me, I have no doubts about that, and yet that Barrier of Milim's managed to withstand them." Frey asked in shock.
"That is a unique Barrier Art that Lady Milim has developed, though she has not used it in a very, very long time, it boasts a foolproof defense, not even spiritron related attacks can bypass it." Middray informed in a mentoring tone.
Frey nodded with twitching lips. "I see, it seems that I do not know nearly as much about Milim as I thought, she really is one scary girl, and Felix is just as scary for going up against that while protecting us in Barriers."
Raiden puffed up her chest. "Of course, my Master is the greatest."
Frey rolled her eyes. "Yes of course." Frey responded, but Raiden could tell there was an undercurrent of fear and respect in Frey's voice.
That did make sense, as while the Barrier did protect them from the effects of the battle, they could still get a general idea of how much power Lady Milim and her Master were throwing around.
From what Raiden had sensed, a casual beam attack from one of them contained hundreds of times more power and Energy than Raiden had in total, and her Master had once said she was at the bottom of the True Demon Lord level, that meant her Master and Lady Milim were hundreds of times more powerful than True Demon Lords at minimum, and while that was something she had always suspected, having confirmation was nice.
- Felix -
I ducked under one of Milim's slashes, lashing out with a kick of my own that met her Barrier and failed to break through.
In the blink of an eye I teleported a hundred or so feet backward and raised it slightly, I began pouring my own power into the blade, lightly nudging the familiar well of power that lay within Yamato.
Yamato lit up in a beautiful whitish hue, Space began distorting as the presence of my blade expanded.
I slashed out in front of me towards Milim. "Infinity Slash!"
Infinity Slash was a devastating slash that was capable of breaking through practically all Barriers through pure brute force, and not only that, it had Spatial rendering effects, which only increased the output of the slash. I couldn't channel my full power through Yamato yet, making the attack weaker than what I hoped for when designing this Art, but I was confident that I'd be able to release the full power of Infinity Slash one day.
Reality rendered as the white crescents of pure power began tearing their way towards Milim.
Milim smirked and met my attack with her own, she slashed out her scimitar, sending a well of Battlewill toward my own attack.
The moment our two attacks met, they canceled each other out in a magnificent explosion of reality.
There was practically a hole in reality in front of me as this dying dimension worked to repair itself from our abuse.
–
Milim and I were staring at each other. We had dueled each other with our blades for what seemed like hours. Neither of us got the upper hand on the other, my Spatial capabilities weren't enough to break through Milim's Stardust Barrier so I couldn't land any cheeky attacks like I had previously.
I still enjoyed it, though, even if I couldn't land any direct hits, it's not like Milim hit me directly either.
We had depowered Satanael somewhat, keeping our EP in the 130,000,000+ range but not going much further than that.
I still had one last move that I wanted to try and use against Milim.
I dashed forward with Yamato aiming for Milim's midsection, Milim met my blow with confidence, and just as our two weapons connected I stopped time.
I immediately felt a massive portion of my Energy drain from me in a continuous stream.
The flow of oxygen halted, the Energy we had released throughout our battle stopped flowing, rays of light stopped moving, everything just stopped.
Milim was shocked for a moment, that singular moment was enough for me to use my masterful Information Particle Manipulation with Othinus' assistance to attack Milim's Stardust Barrier.
The reason I had stopped time is due to one simple rule; defense is irrelevant in this world, in fact the best offense is the best defense, as the moment I touch Milim and she doesn't properly defend her armor will immediately fall apart due to the nature of the Suspended World.
Milim's Stardust Barrier shouldn't be as invincible as it was in a normal world where time is flowing, Barriers in the Suspended World basically turn into meat shields, one hit and then they are out for good, and you cannot cast new Barriers in the Suspended World due to all magicules no longer flowing.
However the moment I stopped time I realized that something was in fact wrong with the Stardust. Stardust was bullshit, and it still worked as normal in Time Stop because why wouldn't it? I hadn't had the chance to test out much in Time Stop due to the inherent risks, but now I was thinking that I probably should have.
Through Thought Acceleration I was quickly able to come up with a new strategy however. Rewriting Infons was far easier in the Suspended World because there weren't many Laws taking place, reality was simplified, so manipulating it was far easier.
Othinus was better than me at Infon Manipulation, but I had been learning as well. I was good enough to take advantage of Milim's lapse in concentration at least, even at the speeds we thought I was still incredibly fast.
I quickly rewrote the Infons of Milim's Stardust Barrier before she had the chance to react, shattering it. She would have been able to prevent it if she could react in time, but thankfully everything lined up for me in this scenario.
This was one of the only ways I could think of to break through Milim's absurd Barrier, even Anti-Skill wouldn't be enough since Anti-Skill was only really capable of negating a single Law, so if an attack makes use of multiple Laws you can pick and choose which Law to negate, but in the end that won't do much to negate the attack all together.
So attacks that make use of multiple Laws are basically immune to Anti-Skill entirely, and Stardust functions on multiple different Laws, even Hollow Purple makes use of multiple different Laws, so I could have easily wiped Yuuki out with that if I wanted to.
In the end, though, Anti-Skill isn't all that it's cracked up to be, it'll only be useful when taking out some Barriers and lower-tier attacks.
But that's enough monologuing.
Milim looked around with widened eyes. "Time Stop!" Milim projected out as her Stardust Barrier got completely destroyed.
I imbued my own response within the surrounding Infons before flinging them at Milim. "And it seems you're a Digital Lifeform, just like I thought."
"Hehe, I haven't had to fight like this in a while!" Milim responded.
I nodded, with Milim's bullshit Barrier broken, I could actually get some good hits in, but I also needed to be careful since all my Barriers and armors would immediately be disabled at the slightest attack, and there was nothing even I could do about that right now. Theoretically I could continuously rewrite the Infons of the Barriers and my armor in an attempt to preserve them, but I didn't want to focus on that right now.
Before we resumed our clash in the Suspended World I called out to Milim. "Make sure not to hit any of the Barriers I placed around the planet."
Those were now just as susceptible to any attack.
- Raiden -
Raiden blinked her eyes in confusion. She had watched as her Master gathered a massive amount of energy into his katana and slashed out in a reality rendering attack that she would not be capable of defending against, though, of course, Lady Milim blocked the attack with a slashing attack of her own.
But she already expected as much from her Master. The two continued to clash for some time before Raiden saw something that she could not comprehend. Her Master practically vanished from her senses reappearing elsewhere at that same moment. She could tell something had happened, but she could not understand what. She just knew that something was off.
- Felix -
Milim and I stared at each other with bated breaths, we had a bit of a clash in the Suspended World but I didn't go all in on my offense since there was really no way to hold back in the Suspended World.
My goal was to destroy her Barrier and I accomplished it.
The way the Suspended World worked was that anything that a Digital Lifeform touched would immediately collapse in on itself due to the molecular bonds collapsing. Milim and I had both been manipulating Infons to make sure our own weapons and armor did not collapse, but the moment one of us overwhelmed the other with Infons it was game over, and game over in this case meant death, there was no in between, so we were actually careful.
With Milim's overpowered Barrier now disabled I appeared behind her, eager to take advantage of this opportunity I had created. I aimed to attack her before she had the chance to recreate her barrier.
My goal wasn't to land a painful wound or anything like that, Milim was still my friend.
I smirked as, before she could react, I drop-kicked her once again into a mountain.
It was pretty hard to predict teleportation, especially since my own brand of teleportation was literally instant, giving Milim zero time to react. I could be a real menace if I just spam-teleported around my opponent.
I watched as Milim burst out of the mountain, angrily glaring at me. "Stop that!"
"Pfft, I can't, your reactions are too good!"
I think I would make it my goal to drop-kick Milim through a mountain during every single one of our spars.
If there are no mountains then I'll just create one and then drop-kick Milim into it.
"Grr, you're a meanie!" Milim said as she crossed her arms. "Fine then, good luck trying to block this!"
My eyes widened as Ultra Instinct blared.
I looked into the future with Seer, its foresight abilities had strengthened since I was using it through Brahma, but even then I still couldn't see that far into the future.
But even seeing a few seconds into the future was a great help, something that I abused when dueling Milim with my Yamato.
"Seriously, Milim?!" I yelled as I saw what she had planned.
I knew she wouldn't use something that she didn't think I could survive, but this was a bit much.
Well, I guess I did send two hundred Disintegration beams at Milim and try to hit her with a ton of meteors.
I sensed Milim gathering an absurd amount of Energy between her hands. It was already too late for me to stop Milim, if I tried to interrupt her now the ball of Stardust would just blow up on us which didn't sound fun.
All I could do now was come up with a plan to deal with Milim's Stardust beam.
Stardust could not be conventionally blocked, it would tear through practically all Barriers, including Multi-Dimensional Barrier.
Perhaps I need to come up with a better Barrier Art.
"I have already begun the process, however I do not possess enough data to create a Barrier that has a valid improvement."
'I see, thanks Othinus.'
But I could think about Barrier Arts later, now I had to deal with Milim and her beams of Stardust.
I could always just dodge, and that is my primary plan, but a beam clash would be pretty cool too, no?
I wanted to fight Milim to test my limits which I had already done, and have some fun, so beam clash it is.
Now, what kind of beam should I use? Just plain old magicules concentrated to the max? But even then, I'd have a hard time beating Milim in a beam clash, Stardust was just that broken.
Ah, I know!
"Master wai–" Othinus tried to interrupt me, but it was already too late.
"Ugh…"
'It's fine Othinus, worst case if our beam clash causes too much destruction, we can just leave this dimension to its fate, it's not like there is any other life here.'
This dimension is rather small and is reaching the end of its lifespan. All civilizations had already passed away eons ago. This dimension was already on life support before we arrived.
I laughed out as I held my palms together, I began gathering a massive amount of magicules while imbuing a minuscule amount of Stardust within it, diluting the energy.
Without being diluted a beam of pure Stardust alone would shatter this dimension entirely from its sheer Aura alone, so diluting it was a must, Milim was doing the same whenever she used stardust.
Reality shuddered as if sensing the coming catastrophe.
Milim and I both laughed as we released the energy we had been gathering towards each other
" " Drago Nova! " " We both yelled.
"Master, there is a very high likelihood that when the two beams of Stardust collide, the resulting explosion will completely burst through all the Barriers placed and destroy this dimension, I recommend leaving."
'Yeah, that's about what I expected, good thing I'm prepared.'
I went through with it of course because this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to momentarily witness a beam clash between two Drago Novas.
I immediately teleported to Milim who looked at me in surprise, she quickly reacted and slashed out towards me, expecting some kind of attack.
"Not now, Milim!" Milim stopped and allowed me to grab her.
I snapped my fingers and created a portal under Raiden, Middray, and Frey before using Blue to draw them through the portal.
Once that was done, just as our two Drago Novas collided, I teleported myself and Milim back to the Cardinal World, from the corner of my eyes, I saw the supernova that our beam clash had become before vanishing, only to see the dimension flooded by the mysterious energy that inhabited the space between dimensions.
Well… rest in peace, random dimension.

Author's Note:
Sup everyone, finally rap up the fight with Milim, the fight honestly dragged on a bit but I was having fun exploring what kind of abilities the both of them could be using, hopefully no one thought it was too too much.
Hopefully you all were able to understand just how OP both Felix and Milim are, really any one of their somewhat serious attacks would basically destroy the Cardinal World if Veldanava didn't reinforce the shit out of it, the planet didn't actively try to fight back, and the divine artifacts also reinforcing the planet further. Veldanava really didn't want his home to go poof.
Now I know it's been a while since Granbell had come up with his plan, but big plans like those take time to accomplish, Granbell needs to truly think of every possible weak point in his plans and fix it, he needs to wait for Kagali's side to get ready, and he needs to wait for a good opportunity to strike, not to mention that while it may have felt like a long time to you readers, in story not that much time has passed since the attack on the Founding Festival.
Anyways, thanks for reading, I hope you all enjoyed, peace!
