Hi, I'm Alex and today is my last day in Canada. I'll be in Texas tomorrow, with a new home, new school, and new friends but one thing is the same, I'm still a rogue wolf and any alpha will smell a threat. Only maybe this time it'll be different, no threats, no trouble, and no enemies. And I'll be the biggest wolf there, being one of the descendants of the first 7 wolves. The first seven are the strongest, fastest, and the biggest. They have the most power over wolves and it doesn't matter who is alpha or not. When Alpha's use their Alpha Tone, it never works on me. I have raven black hair sapphire blue eyes and a twin brother, his wolf is different from mine. Where my wolf has blue areas his has red. Oh, I need to pay attention to class. We aren't doing anything special just notes. After the bell rang to dismiss class I found my best friend Lena. Lena has been my best friend for 13 years.
"Hey maybe I'll be lucky enough to run into Lunamara the first werewolf and maybe her twin brother Liam as well I heard that they're immortal because of who their dad is."
"Yeah maybe in your dreams Alex come on you know they hate the other originals."
"But what if I'm one of their descendants, Lena? That would be so cool though."
"And you know it would be Liam cuz Lunamara can't have kids, because of her birth defect but the rumor is that she has found her mate and he's an angel so if they possessed a child it would be half Satan and half God."
"Yeah, but how cool would that be being related to the immortal werewolves? My wolf is white after all."
"No, actually you could also be related to you know who. And that doesn't mean anything. Artic wolves are white as well."
"We need to get to class." I got tired of her always knocking my beliefs down but I know she just doesn't want me to get my hopes up after all. I didn't pay much attention in class, because it all went too fast. I hope I get to meet Lunamara and Liam. Every wolf is afraid of them but me, no. I was always fascinated by them. I kinda wonder, if my wolf is bigger than theirs. I walked home because I only live down the road. My parents are no longer married my mom has me and my father has my twin brother. the best thing about having a twin is that we can mind linking each other whenever.
'Hey sis, did you finish packing? You know when you're gone I'll be the only white wolf here, that'll be boring. No one to spar or train with. Come on admit that you'll miss me.'
'Hi Asher, yes I'll miss you but not as much as I'll miss kicking your ass in training.'
'Oo someone is cocky today be careful with that big sis.'
'Yeah yeah blah blah now hush we don't need Mom to find out about this right?'
'Whatever sis' I lost the connection of his presence in my mind which I'm thankful for, he gets on my nerves.
"Mom! I'm home." I announced when I walked through the front door.
"Hey sweetie, how was school?" Her voice came from the kitchen.
"I don't know, I didn't pay attention." She scoffed and rolled her eyes at me. That drives my wolf insane.
'Alex we can't let her disrespect us like that.'
'Nica she's our mother so shut it.' She crawled to the back of my mind and was irritated at me. "Go ahead and finish packing. We leave in a little while."
"Ok, mom." I went to my room to finish packing the stuff I had to use today, mainly my toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, and deodorant. I put it all in a smaller bag so I could have it in the front seat with me. I took them all out to the car and put them in the trunk once the ride started. I fell asleep in the car on the way there. My mom woke me when it was my turn to drive. We switched off halfway in between. I feel bad for my mom. She's only human and I'm a werewolf. She has no idea about the stuff I go through. I don't want to put her in danger. Any Alpha would kill a human that knew the existence of our kind. I followed the GPS to the destination. The house was in a cute little neighborhood. Once I pulled up I parked the car and woke my mom up.
"Mom, we're here," I whispered to her so I didn't scare her awake.
"Ok, we'll unpack in the morning." She was so worn out.
"Come on Mom, inside." Please before the Alph- what's that smell? It smells like strawberries and vanilla.
"Honey, you're acting weird." She looked at me as if I were a deer in headlights.
"It's nothing, Mom, I thought I heard something." It's just a small lie, it's ok she can't know Alex "Oh ok, let's go inside." Oh, thank the Moon Goddess she believed it. But what was that amazing smell? I guess I won't know tonight. I want to be able to find the source of the smell. I made dinner for myself and Mom. It was some poor man nachos, something quick and easy to make. After dinner, I went upstairs to my bathroom to shower then headed to bed. I don't remember what time it was just that when my head hit the pillow I was out.
"Alex! Wake up."
"No 10 more minutes." The drive last night wore me out.
"Alex! Wake up, it's 1 in the afternoon! We have visitors!"
"Wait what no 10 minutes and I'll be down" I ran to my closet and grabbed a skin-tight baby blue dress that would make my eyes stand out and will show my curves. Wait for a second there it is again it must be perfume. Hopefully, I don't want to find my wolf mate. I'm not ready yet. And please tell me it's not an alpha. I finished getting dressed and ready and went down there. I could feel the power radiating off of him. He's the alpha I can just feel it, so I pushed my power against his.
"Hi I'm Alex" I finished going down the stairs two at a time.
"Hi, I'm Jack." He stretched his hand out for me to shake. I took it and it felt like electricity went through me. Bringing my whole body to life.
"W-Would you like something to d-drink?" Jack Avery Smith alpha of the second largest and strongest pack in the U.S.
"No thank you, I'm not staying long, just came to say welcome to the neighborhood. And the pack soon, Rouge." He mumbled the last part.
"Well umm. Thanks for stopping by." My nerves are getting to me if he doesn't leave soon I might just wolf out right here in front of my mother.
"Anytime." he leaned in and whispered "Rogue." One last time. My heart dropped as they turned to walk away which was the only time to notice the other person with him. Jack is the Alpha the other one had to be the Beta aka the second in command. I turned to go into the kitchen to make myself breakfast and get my mother her coffee. She never makes it herself; she says she can't make it taste like mine. But honestly, I think it's because she doesn't know how to work the machine to brew the coffee.
