Amelia flinched when the heard the door open.....she hadn't moved from that spot where she had been crying from the time Alex left....her whole eyes were drained of colour and her face became pale
"Amy....Amelia"Alex called out gently reaching out to her face and raised her chin up to look at him and his heart constricted seeing her in that condition.....He quickly sat beside her and let her lean on his shoulder sensing that she was tired as a result of the crying....his breath still having the smell of smoke and a bit of alcohol
At this point even Amelia had no strength to argue as she soon fell asleep in his arms....looks like she was waiting for his touch after all
"Hmmm"Alex sighed and carried her to the bed and tucked her in
"Such ravishing creature you are....i am really sorry for hurting you.....please forgive me"he said quietly and then continued caressing her and admiring her beautiful face but still can't get the guilt off him and then he left her in the room and left to go get the Pills and Necklace he asked Eric to get for him.....
Amelia yawns" what time is it.....how long did i sleep?" She gasped as she checked the time twelve pm
"Oh My God....how did i sleep this long"
"Morning little siren"Alex walked in the room
"What do you want"Amelia said and her mood changed immediately
"What if i say i want you"he said and got close to her and pinned her to the bed and rendered her immovable
"Arrgh...let me go...let me go this instant, i don't want you...you only know how to hurt people"she said as she tried to push him off
"Shut the fuck up now"he said in anger
"Let me go Alex.....Al...."
"That would be Prince Alex to you or better still My Lord....do you lack respect little siren"He said getting annoyed....actually he liked the fact that she called him Alex but he just wanted her to feel bad and make her know that she wasn't of a high status compared to him but surprisingly she shocked him with what she said next
"You want respect? Then let me go you fucking Asshole"Alex was stunned by the reply and even added more strength to the weight at which he held her down
"Ouch you're hurting me again" she cried with her sobs filling the room...Alex instantly felt guilty and let his arm loosen a little around arm and she took the opportunity immediately and pushed him away quickly opened the door and ran out of the palace....
"I like this one"Alex smirks
"Eric we have a run away captive, catch her...she couldn't have gone to far"
"Ye...yes sire"Eric said and positioned the guards to look for her and he went looking for her by himself....
Amelia's Pov
I looked around me and saw guards stationed everywhere and begined to question my actions'if Alex catches me this time he's never gonna let me go' i said to myself
I was gradually going through the bushes hoping to avoid the guards when i was instantly pulled back by the waist to someone's well tussled Abs and i gasped 'oh no...he found me'i said and started to shed tears hoping he would take pity on me but who am i kidding
"Where do you think you are going to huh little Siren...you've angered me this time"Alex said to me his eyes screaming fury and yanked my hand pretty hard this time and pulled me towards the palace again and i screamed and cried in pain but he didn't even give me a glance and kept on pulling me.....he pushed me into his room and threw my pills and necklace to me and locked the door from outside...i wonder where he went to
I quickly took a pill and wore the necklace feeling extremely guilty
"He got the necklace for me and the pills which shows that he cares....but what did i do?...i tried to run away when clearly he isn't doing anything bad to me" i said crying even harder
'I am going to revenge you Mother and Father i am' i said with more tears coming out from my eyes.....i stayed there letting out all my grief for a while before i heard the door open again.....deep down inside me i was hoping it was Alex...why do i want him?....why am i even expecting him to walk through that door?....'no i can't be inlove with my enemy'....turns out it was one of the maids
"Mi Lady, i was asked to clean you and get you dressed and was also asked to apply this ointment on you arm and wrist mi lady"the maid said with her head low
"You can just call me Amelia, drop the formalities i am not important"
"I am sorry mi lady but the prince asked us to never address you informaly as you are his"the maid said apologetically
"It's fine i can get dressed on my own....you can leave the ointment too"i said
"I'm sorry mi lady but this might cost me my job if i didn't do i was asked to by the prince"she said and i gave her a resigned look
"It's fine you can stay in the room but you won't be doing anything"i said and left for the bathroom ....i haven't had my bath since yesterday because i didn't have my pills with me...
I put on the shower and let the cold water pour down on my body and i shivered as a result of the cold water coming in contact with my skin....i didn't know how much i stayed in the shower but one thing was for sure my leg and hands were starting to get numb probably because i stayed in one position for too long and i quickly got out of the bathroom but i didn't see the maid, instead i saw him...
