Amelia's POV
"What are you doing here"i asked
"This is my room, forgotten?"he countered and i pouted
"Whatever"i said and he smirked i watched him oggle me....looks like my beauty charm captured this one.....Actually if i wanted Alex to love me i could have just sung him a song and that's it because when siren sings their voice acts as a charm to lock men unto them but i didn't do it because the voice would be too loud and everyone would know that i am a siren and also i didn't also do that because i didn't want him to fall inlove with me....
"Come down for dinner with my family...and dress well i want to introduce you"he said coldly and left the room and i scoffed
"What a rude prince"i said sarcastically and went to the bed and saw a little note and a gift bag 'wear this....you have thirty minutes' the note says and then i proceeded to open the bag and saw a very beutiful evening gown...it was long and had a slit at the left side and and the shoulder side was strapped with flower designs
"For a rude prince he really has good taste" i said and laughed...
I quickly got dressed tied my hair in a bun and held it with fancy pins.....i wore the fancy slippers he left for me and quickly headed downstairs to the dining table...
I was kinda nervous because this was my first official meeting with the Royal household....i walked majestically down the stairs and noticed that Alex couldn't just take his eyes away from me for a single secong and i was inwardly excited by his reaction...
I reached the ground floor finally and bowed my head with a curtsy
"Greetings to the Royal household"i said and raised my head up to see the Queen and the girl at the hallway the other day stare at me with disgust written all over their face and i just ignored them
"What is this wench doing here"his sister said...i wasn't surprised at her question because i know she already hates me
"Shut the hell up sis,have some respect and watch your tongue when speaking to her....Amelia come here"i heard him say and i quickly went over to his side and he urged me to sit beside him
"Mom, Dad this is Amelia...my...."he said and glanced at me and i was eagerly waiting for him to finish the sentence...looks like he knew what i was waiting for and before he said anything his mom cut him off
"I hope it's not what i am thinking Son" Queen Ashley said
"What ever you're thinking mom you can keep it to your self because she's my girlfriend and she is here to stay"as he finished saying those words i choked on my food
*coughs* and i drank some water immediately he observed my reaction but didn't say anything
"What is the meaning of this nonsense son...what has come over you...wait a second isn't she the witch that you dumped Lauretta for?huh?"queen Ashley said madly
"Mother you will not speak ill of my girlfriend right in front of me "Alex retorted and i felt so emotional when he defended me in front of his parent but at the same time i was feeling guilty cause i didn't want his parent's to fight because of me
"Uhm.....Ale....prince Alex, it's fine.....I'll have the maids bring my food to the room"I said apologetically...
"You go nowhere Amelia"Alex said and pulled me back down to seat with him and i was surprised
"Alright, alright we should eat now....enough talking now"The king said in a resigned tone...seems like he's pretty nice compared to the Queen and her daughter i thought to myself...
"I am deeply sorry your magesty for any inconveniences that i have caused" i apologized almost immediately...
"It's fine my dear you can start eating now....Alex eat your food"He said and i felt like family well apart from the queen and her daughter the king is so kind.....
Alex kept on adding more food to my plate and i felt surprised at his gestures 'when did he become so nice' i asked my self and then i felt someone's hands on my laps and looked down to see that is was Alex hands and i glared at him and he smirked.....and he continued his assault...i almost moaned but i held it and used a fork to hit him on his hands and he removed his hands and glared at me and i did the same...
I quickly finished my food and stood up and gestured to the king that i was ready to leave and he nodded giving me the permission to leave and i went up to my room...
I got to the room and that library or should i say ancient passage way got me curious again.....i wanted to know the force that was pulling me but i shrugged that thought off and told my self that i would do that when Alex goes out...in my thoughts the door opened and Alex walked in and i stood up immediately and walked towards him and hugged him....didn't really know why i did that but i felt it was necessary..."Thanks for having my back out there" i said
"Hey don get your hopes up....i did what i did there because i wanted to keep you in this palace and you are not my girlfriend" he said and my feelings twitched a little
"I know...i still thank you"
"It's fine, go to bed"
"Okay"i said and went to the bed to sleep....
Alex POV
She was looking incredibly hot and i had to hold myself back there i went to the bathroom to do the cold water treatment to calm my little brother down there and after that i headed over to my Father's study...he said he wanted to see me...
"Father..." I greeted
"Come sit son"he said and i went over to sit opposite him..
"The girl you brought, what plans do you have for her" he asked me in a serious tone
"No plans yet Father..."i replied bluntly
"What do you mean no plans.....did she agreed to be brought here willingly or you used force"he asked again....i guess he knows the kind of son he has
"Father the method in which i used in bringing her here is unnecessary"i said and he just gave me a resigned look
"Whatever your decision is just be mindful of your Mother and sister they might give the girl a hard time"He warned and i was grateful for that...ever since my real mother died i have only been close to my Father....Although i don't talk much i know he really cares about me and i feel the same for him too
"Alright Father thanks for telling me this.....good night"
"Goodnight Son" he said to me and i left his study back to the room and i looked at the angel who was already fast asleep "probably dreaming of me" i said and chuckled and went over to her side and caressed her face and pecked her
"Goodnight little siren"i said and went back outside for a brief smoke asking my self what i truly want with Amelia....
