I was finally on the date that Grayfia had promised, and, of course, I decided to keep things local—on the 9th floor of Nazarick, where all the entertainment options were located.
I don't know the reason why Ajuka and Sirzech leave suddenly, if they are busy with underworld work I can't say anything. But anyway back topic.
It wasn't just a strategic decision to take Grayfia on the date on the 9th floor; the 9th floor of Nazarick was one of the largest and most impressive areas in the tomb, filled with luxurious amenities, dining spots, and even private spaces for moments like this.
Though, of course, the 9th floor wasn't without its danger. There were booby traps scattered around, along with powerful summoning circles in various corners of the floor, which will transfer the victim to the upper floors of Nazarick.
Grayfia dressed elegantly for the occasion, walked beside me, her usual stoic demeanour slightly softened for this more personal moment. Despite her usual composure, I could sense the subtle excitement beneath her calm surface.
She was as sharp as ever, her silver hair flowing gracefully down her back, and her regal presence undeniable even in this more casual setting.
As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. This was the first real chance I'd had to spend time with her outside of our usual interactions. I have to say I really need to score her.
[Grayfia Lucifuge, The Strongest of Queen]
Husband candidate: 89%
Description: She is the queen of Sirzechs Lucifer's peerage.
She is really impressed with Nazarick.
Currently a little jealous of Yuri Alpha because of her being a perfect maid.
Remark: Just need a little push to get under that skirt.
Grayfia was known for her professionalism, her loyalty to Sirzechs, and her status as the most powerful queen in the Underworld. Yet here she was, walking beside me as just Grayfia, not the famed maid or the queen of the Gremory household. Even her statues look promising.
But what she needs is a little push just like my system said.
"I hope this is to your liking," I said, glancing at her as we strolled through one of the grand hallways leading to the entertainment area.
Grayfia looked around, her sharp eyes scanning the grand architecture of Nazarick's 9th floor. "It's... impressive. I thought only Greek Mythology has such beautiful carvings but I was wrong."
I smiled. "Well, I wanted to show you the best parts. And since you've promised me this date, I thought I'd return the favour by showing you around."
She chuckled softly, a rare sound from her. "You certainly know how to pick your locations."
As we continued walking, I couldn't help but think about Rias, Sona and the others. They were also on the 9th floor today, exploring Nazarick with the help of some of the maids I had assigned to them.
Considering how dangerous this floor could be, especially for those unfamiliar with its layout, it was a good idea to have the maids guide them through. Rias' peerage and Sona's group were strong, but the traps and summoning circles scattered around the area were another level of danger entirely. I didn't want them to accidentally stumble upon one and cause chaos—or worse, get traumatized for the rest of their life.
I had ensured that the maids knew the safest routes, avoiding any areas that could trigger something problematic. After all, this was supposed to be a relaxing day for everyone, and I wasn't about to let a careless mistake ruin it.
"I've assigned a few of the maids to guide Rias and Sona's groups around the floor," I said, casually mentioning it as we walked.
Grayfia gave me a sidelong glance, her lips curving slightly into a small smile. "You're being considerate of their safety. How thoughtful."
I chuckled lightly, shaking my head. "Grayfia, this is the great tomb of Nazarick. My friends and I built this fortress with one goal in mind—nothing that enters is meant to leave alive." My voice carried a hint of pride, but also the seriousness of what Nazarick truly represented.
Pausing for a moment, I continued with a slight grin, "This is the first time I've invited this many people to my home. Even though they're close to me, that doesn't mean the traps will take it easy on them."
Grayfia nodded in understanding, her eyes flickering with the recognition of the power this tomb held.
"I just want to make sure Rias' peerage and Sona's group don't get traumatized," I added. "Especially not today. There's already enough stress without adding potential disasters into the mix."
"Anyway enough about that, let us start our date. And I promise you, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you." I said.
