Zaine shrugged
"Guess they got bored and left"
Sable scrutinized Zaine thoroughly for a few seconds before her gaze was eventually drawn to the floor. There was a decently large crack in the ground, suggesting that a large amount of force had been used, but other than that,there was nothing to note.
For some reason though, she found it hard to peel her eyes away from that spot, something about it was.... hypnotizing.
"So we can go?"
"Huh?"
Zaine looked at her suspiciously. She had seemed so laser focused just a few minutes ago and now she was barely listening.
"Did you take care of things?"
"Um....yeah. we can go"
Zaine shrugged.
"Great. Ladies first?"
"N...no ,go ahead"
Zaine looked at her suspiciously before turning around and walking through the door.
Sable shakily brought out a knife she was hiding behind her back. It was the same knife she'd pulled out of Zaine's back and it was still dripping with fresh wet blood.
