Slivya and Alex's faces changed when they heard Emrys saying that he was ready to ascend. They did not expect Emrys to want to ascend so soon.
They exchanged glances with each other. Then Slivya looked at her son with worry and asked hesitantly, "Can't you stay a few more years?"
Alex also spoke with reluctances. "There is no rush, right. Why don't you stay with us for some more time."
But Emrys had another idea. He truly did not want to stay here any longer. Staying for longer would only mean wasting his time and potential for growth. In the end, he shook his head and said, "I have already delayed my ascension for far too long. I truly can't stay any longer."
His voice was calm, but firm.
