Tai Long spat out blood, his face pale. Realizing how humiliating this was, he decided to play dead. He shut his eyes and collapsed on the floor.
"Brother, since you beat Tai Long, does that make you the chief of the academy now?" Xiao Wu asked curiously.
"I don't give a damn about being chief," Ye Feng replied flatly.
"Senior Brother, from now on, no one at Shrek Academy will dare to question you as the top student." Ning Rongrong grinned, congratulating him.
"I'm really not interested in being chief." As everyone assumed he was just being modest, Ye Feng continued, "If I'm gonna be something, I might as well aim for the strongest spirit master in the Douluo Continent. Why would I settle for being chief of an academy?"
Xiao Wu: "…"
Ning Rongrong: "…"

"Why is it so noisy in here? Class is starting."
At that moment, the short and chubby teacher, Shao Xin, walked in. He spotted Tai Long sprawled on the ground and frowned. "Who was fighting in the classroom? Who's the other one? Stand up. You're getting punished."
"Me," Ye Feng said calmly.
"Ye Feng? It was you?"
"Yeah."
"Ye Feng, today is the first day of the merger between Blue Tyrant Academy and Shrek Academy. Why are you bullying the other students?" Shao Xin asked.
"I didn't want to. He asked for a fight. Didn't you say there'd be punishment? How do you want to handle this?"
Shao Xin hesitated. Then he waved a hand. "Forget it. Let's move on. Alright, class is starting."
It was obvious he had no intention of punishing Ye Feng. Shrek Academy hadn't seen a talent like him in decades. Just like Flender, Shao Xin valued Ye Feng too much to discipline him.

After class, Ye Feng, Xiao Wu, and Ning Rongrong wandered around the academy. Ma Hongjun and Oscar followed along.
Tang San was off training, trying to surpass Ye Feng. He had gone with Flender, Zhao Wuji, and the Grandmaster—probably to obtain spirit rings for his Clear Sky Hammer.
Dai Mubai, after his breakup with Zhu Zhuqing, had gone back to his old ways, hitting up the city's brothels.
As for Zhu Zhuqing, she had taken her Nether Spirit Cat into the forest to train with the Shadow Star Fist.
"Brother, I heard there's a ton of good food in Heaven Dou City. Let's go check it out!" Xiao Wu suggested.
"Alright. Fatty, Oscar, you guys coming?"
"What's the point of bringing them? They're both pervs. Forget them, let's just go alone," Xiao Wu huffed.
Oscar, feeling wronged, protested, "Xiao Wu, just because you wanna be alone with Boss Ye doesn't mean you gotta insult us like that! I'm a changed man—I only have Yi-Yin in my heart now!"
"Yeah, Oscar's right! Xiao Wu, that was uncalled for. Look, I might be a little chubby, but I'm loyal to my women. Ever since Boss Ye helped me get my thirteen girlfriends back, have you ever seen me messing around with Dai Mubai? How am I a perv now?" Ma Hongjun complained.
Ning Rongrong hesitated. "Senior Brother… I…"
She looked at Xiao Wu, unsure if she should ask to come along. She had feelings for Ye Feng, but Xiao Wu had only invited him.
Xiao Wu, noticing Ning Rongrong's expression, smiled and said, "Rongrong, wanna come too? Let's go together."
"Really? Is that okay?" Ning Rongrong asked in surprise.
"Of course. You're not some random chick. You're worthy," Xiao Wu said warmly.
Oscar sighed dramatically. "Boss Ye, I envy you. This isn't a date for two—it's a damn harem trip."
But just as they were about to leave the academy, they ran into Liu Erlong.
"Ye Feng, where are you headed?"
"Xiao Wu wants to grab some food in the city."
"Then I'll join you."
"Huh?"
"I am the vice principal of the academy, you know. Isn't it only right that you treat me to a meal?" Liu Erlong said with a teasing smirk, staring at Ye Feng like she had no intention of letting him escape.
"Whoa…"
Oscar elbowed Ye Feng and whispered, "Boss Ye, don't tell me… you bagged her too? This isn't a three-person date—it's a four-person date."
"A four-person date?"
Liu Erlong, despite her strong cultivation, had excellent hearing and caught Oscar's words.
She smirked and said, "Oscar, I'll personally help you with your fifth spirit ring."
"Huh?"
Oscar froze. His gaze flickered between Liu Erlong and Ye Feng, eyes widening in realization.
"Boss Ye… don't tell me you really got her too?"
