Forty-nine Supreme Beings?
Maxen was momentarily stunned. He couldn't understand why there were so many Supreme Beings.
Mike's own power gave him a better vantage point. Naturally, he could see far more than Maxen could.
Those "Supreme Beings" were a mix of reality and illusions. Not every single one was a true-blue Supreme.
After all, in the previous era, there hadn't been so many Supremes for the Supreme Demon God to devour.
The problem lay in the Supreme Demon God's cunning strategy:
He had carved off a portion of his own power and molded it into forty-nine "embryos," then stripped away the tangled assortment of consciousnesses inside him.
Those Supreme-level consciousnesses were free to move from one embryo to another. It was simple logic: the embryos' power originated from the Supreme Demon God, and those consciousnesses were extensions of the Demon God himself. Both sides shared the same source, so fusing together was no big deal.
