Marissa and Rafael exchanged glances, stunned by what they were seeing. Ariel was also rooted to the spot.
"You… you two know each other?" Marissa muttered under her breath, but George didn't respond. He was holding Anaya as if his life depended on it, his arms were wrapped tightly around her.
Abigail stood frozen, her hands trembling at her sides. She didn't push him away, but she didn't hug him back either. Her breath hitched, and for a moment, she wasn't sure if she was dreaming.
"I… I almost went crazy searching for you," He told her in a low voice, "You've no idea how long I've been looking for you."
She felt his lips on her head, "I won't let you disappear again. Do you have any idea what you put me through?"
Rafael made a face when he heard George mumbling something to Abigail, not audible to anyone in the room. He stepped forward, watching them in exasperation, "Can you let my daughter go? You are blocking her oxygen, man!"
