Chapter 14 - A New Beginning, With Betrayal

I made it to the beach and I saw my friends and boyfriend waiting. I smiled and blushed so hard it felt hotter than 92 degrees. More like 102. I smiled and showed them my new outfit which I got from the mall last weekend. "No bathing suit Mazori?" JuDae Jokes. My facial expression changed. " Of course I have a bathing suit but I'm not wearing it now! I want to wear it when we go to the pool. I don't want sand and salt water all over me" " But you want chlorine?" JuDae jokes again. I sighed. " You're so annoying." " I know!" She says playfully. " Wait! We're going to the pool?" Rezuela asks. " Oh yeah, We never decided." " Well I didn't bring a bathing suit!" That's so Rezuela. " Neither did I. '' Said Kyle. " Okay I guess we can do something else then. Maybe golf or go out for lunch?" They each shrug. ' Let's figure that out after the beach!" Says Kyle as he runs over to the water. JuDae follows. Rezuela stays back with me. "You know that Kyle is in the water with his clothes on right?" Rezuela laughs. I laugh too. " Yeah, I have no idea why he didn't just bring swim trunks." " Me neither, We at least knew we were going to the beach. I just don't want to get in this water because it's too cold. It's warmer in the pool." " Agreed." I add. I changed into a sweater as it started to get a little windy. I then heard the Little Softee ice cream truck up the boardwalk. I pull at Rezuela. " Come on. We can have ice cream for us and JuDae and Kyle!" She follows smiling. When we get to the truck I order Vanila for Rezuela, Strawberry for Kyle, and Chocolate for me and JuDae. As we walked back I saw something that made my heart and Rezuela's jump. JuDae was kissing someone. Kyle. I stood with my mouth open. Rezuela looked pissed. I had to stop her from going over there to kill them as tears filled my eyes. I ran. Before I could hardly make a step Kyle was holding my hand. " Why?" I sniffled. " What did I do to you Kyle? And what did I do to you JuDae?" I asked as the Ice cream I was holding fell. I had to use all my might not to pass out. I buried my face in my hands as Kyle tried to talk to me. "Listen, I can explain Mazor—" " Yeah Damn right right you can explain Kyle! JuDae you better get your butt up and explain too!" JuDae and Kyle just stared at each other. " Just, Why?" I sniffled." It was an accident." JuDae tries to comfort me. " Do you remember how we met? You helped me. Now you ruined me!" " Mazori, I don't even like him. I'm, well, lesbian, or gay, whatever you call it. He fell and we ended up kissing. I'm sorry you think that." I look up, my blue eyes now gray. Even Rezuela doesn't look angry anymore. " So, you didn't kiss, like that way, like you were cheating on me?" I ask Kyle. " No! Of course not. I love you Mazori. I Wouldn't do that to you. I Fake a smile. It was going to be pretty hard to get things back to normal after that. The Ice cream in Rezuela's hand had melted and we were all pretty hungry since it was already 1:19. Rezuela decided We Should go to lunch. She wanted to cheer me up so she picked my favorite lunch spot, Kunu Tashu. Their food is so yummy. Their food consists of; Sushi, Rice,Noodles, Udon,Beef,Ramen,Soup,Salad,Kimchi,and fish. The best food ever. I smiled at her request and I felt like I heard everyone let out a small sigh. My smile then faded. That sounds nice guys but I want to go home and freshen up, I'm not that hungry anyway.How about dinner there?" Of course I was lying. I was starving. We still had some rice in the fridge. I could just heat it up though. Everyone nodded in agreement and we decided to meet up there at 7:30. Rezuela walked me home with Cora. Cora was on the other side of the beach when that happened. She went off to the sandbox and swungs and had just come back when we were talking about dinner. She doesn't know about what happened and I don't really want to be the one to tell her even though she's my friend. She's too young. She's only 6. I stay in my room and at 6:42 I start to get ready. I still feel depressed but I manage to make a smile and at 7:30 I make it to Kunu Tashu to see my friends already at a table. I take a seat next to Rezuela. This time Cora didn't come. I managed to pull together a mini black skirt with a tank top and my hair out.
