Tony stood up from the computer, glanced at Arthur, raised an eyebrow, and said, "I was initially going to say that they could never accomplish this. Do you know what that would mean? It would imply some degree of immortality... though I think this kind of immortality is worse than death. Without a human body, this existence would only find pleasure in the data of beautiful women. But that's not the point… The point is, I can't deny its possibility!"
"Because you're a miracle yourself." Tony looked at Arthur as he continued to speak. "When you can stand right in front of me alive, it makes it hard for me to deny the feasibility of what you're saying... Is this real?"
"Of course." Arthur glanced at the computer and said, "Otherwise, how do you explain everything you're facing right now?"
"I need something…" Tony turned quickly and rushed back to the computer.
"What do you need?" Arthur asked immediately.
"It's useless to ask you... Professor Mark!"
After saying that, Tony looked back at Arthur. "What are you still standing there for? You're not helping; don't make things worse."
"… Damn you!"
Arthur felt this guy was too cheeky, acting so smug around him.
Before Arthur could respond, Parker approached. "Someone's looking for you."
Arthur paused for a second and then headed straight out.
In a place like this, the only person looking for him could be Bucky, right?
He opened the door and saw Bucky leaning against the wall, his eyes peering out from behind the silver mask, staring at Arthur. "They're coming."
"Good!"
Arthur walked straight out. "How's your trap set up?"
"Not great," Bucky said. "There are too many of them. We can probably leave only half of them."
"Then just take care of the rest."
Arthur said, then suddenly looked back at Parker, who was following behind him. "I need your help."
"I can't kill anyone," Parker immediately waved his hands, feeling out of place next to these two deadly individuals.
Arthur replied, "You don't need to kill. We'll handle that; you'll focus on capturing. You should be good at that."
"That's fine." Parker nodded eagerly.
…
The three of them left the base, and Arthur's Raven wings unfolded, grabbing the shoulders of the other two and taking to the skies.
Bucky's face was as cold as ice, his eyes scanning the distance. Rows of lights ahead indicated the presence of cars...
"I chopped down some trees. They can't get through; they'll have to go around." Bucky said, "But I didn't plan the area."
"It's fine."
As they flew toward the target, Arthur spoke, "I'll take care of the monitoring. Parker, follow my orders. When I tell you to go to a place to capture someone, you go immediately."
"Got it... By the way, have I evolved yet? Am I considered a flying spider now?" Parker flailed his limbs mid-air, making Arthur feel like throwing him down.
Suppressing the impulse, Arthur asked Bucky, "How's the signal jamming?"
"They won't get any messages out of here."
"Good, then we can go all out."
As they spoke, they reached a position directly above the group. Arthur threw out his arm and first tossed the flailing little spider, who was still in his white lab coat.
The little spider quickly shot out a web, landing on a big tree, stabilizing himself, and then took off the lab coat. While doing so, he used the communicator to say, "Why did you throw me down first? I wasn't ready! Is this how you treat the new generation?"
"I was just fulfilling your wish to become a flying spider," Arthur replied, watching Bucky gesture, nodding, and then tossing Bucky down too.
As Bucky fell, he was different from the little spider.
The little spider shot a web, pulling his body down silently, without any movement.
But Bucky was different. As soon as he hit the ground, he threw eight grenades around him, creating an explosive spectacle. Before he even touched the ground, bodies were already flying around. Finally, he landed in black clothes and a silver mask, and the moment he stood up, he shot two enemies trying to sneak up on him.
"Your friend is amazing," Parker said from a distance, unable to stop himself from praising, "Is he part of our team too?"
"He's frontline combatant," Arthur replied. "You are too."
"Is not being able to kill considered frontline combat?" The little spider seemed troubled by his own reluctance to kill.
"It's better to keep your hands clean at your age," Arthur said, checking from the air.
Bucky's trap placement was very clever. Most of them weren't deadly but were still capable of causing significant damage. It looked a little bloody.
Arthur furrowed his brow slightly and said to the little spider, "At six o'clock, about 200 meters, someone is trying to break away. Capture him and hang him in a tree."
"Got it."
The little spider immediately set off.
At this moment, Arthur released The Eye of Horus, which floated in the air while he descended.
The position was directly above the convoy, and Hydra had some people stationed here, aiming to find the signal jammers.
Arthur fell from the sky, and with a sweep of his sword, he cut a truck in half. The explosion and flames erupted into the sky.
Screams rang out one after another.
"It's Instructor!"
"It's a trap!"
"Retreat, retreat!"
"We can't send a signal, damn it, we might be surrounded!"
Arthur laughed loudly, "You're surrounded, surrender now!"
In response, he was met with a barrage of gunfire. He blocked them with his sword, and the bullets hit his Asgardian sword, leaving no marks at all.
The distance was too far, so Arthur simply pulled out a handgun and began energy shooting.
One hand wielding the sword, the other with the gun, his movements were unpredictable. With each shot and each strike, chaos ensued.
"That's Star-Lord's sword! So there was never a Star-Lord! It's always been the Instructor!!!"
Perhaps this sword was familiar to them, as someone shouted this just before dying.
"That is the truth," Arthur sighed, "It's a pity your boss won't be receiving this information."
After dealing with all the remaining personnel, Arthur began directing the little spider to capture more people. With a flap of his wings, he went to support Bucky!
Though Hydra had many members, the overall rhythm of the battle was completely in the hands of the three of them.
