Chapter 298 - MD-Chapter 296 Two Messages

This time, Hydra sent a significant force— ten teams, each with twelve members. Over a hundred people crowded the scene, with gunfire and explosions filling the air.

However, both Arthur and Bucky were well-acquainted with such chaos and didn't think much of it.

The only one feeling tense was Parker. He had never personally stepped onto a battlefield like this, but fortunately, he was quick and incredibly strong. His movements were almost impossible to track, and even after hours of chaos, no one managed to touch the corner of his clothes.

Completely defeating Hydra's forces was just a matter of time.

Suddenly, a whistling sound cut through the air, and Tony, wearing a Mark suit of who-knows-what model, zoomed in front of them.

"Target locked!" He announced, and small tracking missiles flew across the sky. In just one pass, more than twenty Hydra members were taken down.

Arthur was momentarily stunned. He hadn't expected Tony to arrive so suddenly. He moved swiftly and flew to Tony's side. "How's the situation over there?"

"I came for this," Tony replied. "I have some bad news and some good news. Which one do you want to hear first?"

"...Can I just hear the good news and skip the bad?" Arthur asked, squinting slightly.

"Of course not!"

Tony positioned himself so that he and Arthur were at eye level. "Let's start with the bad news. I created a small device to trap this 'refreshing and unique artificial intelligence' inside. I thought it would let us access the computer directly. But when it was done, the entire system crashed."

"...Is that all for the bad news?" Arthur blinked in disbelief.

"Of course not. To be precise," Tony said while aiming and shooting, "the computer is completely fried and can never be used again."

"So what's the good news?"

"The good news is... I got this."

At this point, Tony added, "J.A.R.V.I.S., show our elderly friend some wonders!"

Just as Tony finished speaking, a light blinked on Arthur's wristband, followed by a 'ding' sound.

Arthur suddenly remembered he still had a secret weapon he hadn't used.

He opened the wristband's virtual interface and found that Tony had sent a document titled 'File No. 51.' The content detailed the 'Parasite' project!

After quickly scanning the entire plan, Arthur released the Abomination and Sumer ((Wristband controlled weapon)).

"Šumer at your service, Instructor!"

Arthur issued the command, identifying enemies and allies. In the next second, the massive self-propelled artillery will begin its performance.

"How does it feel?" Tony asked. "Is this good news?"

"This is just good luck," Arthur replied. "We need to deal with the people here quickly. After that, I need to find Fury."

"Is it time for the final showdown?"

"Perhaps, but the battle may never happen." Arthur looked up. "All wars end at the small skirmishes right before them."

"Such an organization can be dismantled completely, without the public ever knowing."

Tony looked at Arthur. "Pity, you won't be remembered by anyone."

"That's not what I want."

On the battlefield, the Abomination charged through recklessly while Šumer didn't miss a single shot. Occasionally, if there was a near miss, Šumer would immediately finish the job. It was relentless— never giving the enemy a chance to breathe.

The entire battle took less than ten minutes to conclude.

While Tony and Arthur were chatting idly, they also caught sight of Bucky.

Arthur had been quite nervous, but then Tony asked, "Who's that guy? He's impressive."

"I'll explain his story to you later," Arthur said as he landed. "Help clean up the battlefield!"

As the battle progressed, Arthur nearly stopped taking prisoners. Under Šumer's lead, it was either death or severe injury.

The Abomination crashed through, and anyone he collided with was either dead or incapacitated.

Except for the group captured by Little Spider and the traps set by Bucky at the beginning, the rest of them were all dead.

After quickly counting the remaining people, only seventeen were left, most of whom were unconscious.

This made things easier for Arthur. After knocking out the few that were still awake, he glanced at Tony.

"I'll be fine heading back myself; I have some things to do," Tony said. "Also, take this."

He handed Arthur a small black device, which had nothing on it except a single port.

"What's this?"

"The core program of that computer," Tony explained. "It's probably what you call Dr. Zola. Of course, after thinking it over, I believe it's not really Dr. Zola himself, but his memories, experiences, and personality…"

"…Personality?" Arthur thought for a moment and said, "That's possible."

"But even so, this person is really impressive," Tony affirmed. "To have such an idea in that era is simply unbelievable."

Arthur gave Tony a cautious look. "You're not thinking of doing something dangerous, are you?"

He felt a twinge of worry, knowing that Tony sometimes took extreme actions, possibly considering uploading himself into a similar computer system. If that happened, they might end up with a fleet of driverless Mark suits running around, speaking in an obnoxious tone.

"Of course not!" Tony shook his head with certainty.

Arthur nodded, then turned to Parker. "You head back first. Tell Professor Mark and the others that I'll come to pick them up tomorrow. Also, I need to talk to them about something."

"Got it." Parker nodded and shot off a spider web, flying away.

"Can he really shoot out that white stuff?" Tony said, surprised. "I'm curious to see what it really is. Maybe I can help him upgrade his gear."

After saying that, Tony flew up and chased after Parker.

Bucky emerged from the smoke, watching Tony fly off. After a moment of silence, he turned to Arthur. "It's him, right?"

"Mm." Arthur nodded.

"I should give him an explanation." Bucky's expression was serious.

"Wait until you remember everything," Arthur advised. "I'll talk to him about this too."

"Then we'll listen to him," Bucky replied.

Arthur casually drew a teleportation circle on the ground and, pulling Bucky with him, stepped onto it.

Just as they landed, a rough voice filled with menace and cruelty yelled, "Hulk hungry! Hulk will eat you! You can't even fit into Hulk's teeth gaps, stupid little worms!"

Arthur chuckled. "This kid's really adding drama for himself, huh?"

As soon as Bucky saw the massive green figure, he instinctively wanted to find somewhere to hide...
