Once upon a time there was a bunny.
Now, this was no ordinary bunny, this bunny was pink with long skinny arms and long skinny legs. This bunny had long floppy ears and I think that was how he got his name. His name was "Floppy Ears".
Floppy Ears was lying in the grass with his mom, enjoying the warm sunshine and the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. His mom was gazing up at the sky, and Floppy Ears followed her gaze.
"Mom, look! Its so clear, when it gets darker we are going to see so many stars tonight," he said, his eyes shining with excitement.
His mom smiled. "Ah, yes! And you know what's special about the first star you see?"
Floppy Ears shook his head. "What?"
His mom sat up and pulled Floppy Ears close. "You're supposed to make a wish on it," she said, her voice low and mysterious.
Floppy Ears' eyes widened. "Really? Like, it might really come true?"
His mom nodded. "Well, that's what people say, anyway. But we have to say a special rhyme to make it work."
Floppy Ears leaned in eagerly as his mom began to recite the rhyme:
"Star light, star bright. First star I've seen tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might. Have the wish I wish tonight."
Floppy Ears repeated the rhyme after his mom, his voice growing louder as he got more into it. He looked up at the sky again, and this time, he saw one star shining brightly.
"Mom, Look, the first star" he exclaimed.
Then he recited the lines and made his wish. "I did it! I made a wish!" he told her.
His mom smiled and hugged him tightly. "You did! And now, all we have to do is wait and see if your wish comes true."
Floppy Ears looked puzzled. "But how do we know if it does? It might not come true!"
His mom chuckled. "Well, that's the magic of it, I suppose. Sometimes, we just have to trust that things will work out the way they're meant to. But don't worry, we'll keep an eye out for any signs that your wish might be coming true."
Floppy Ears nodded thoughtfully, his mind whirling with all the possibilities. He couldn't wait to see if his wish would come true.
As they sat there in the grass, Floppy Ears gazed up at the stars again, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement building inside him. He knew that he would have to wait a little while to find out if his wish had come true, but he was determined to keep believing that magic was real.
And as they sat there together, under the twinkling night sky, Floppy Ears knew that he would always treasure this special moment with his mom – a moment of wonder, magic, and possibility.
The End.
