Aidan stood at the edge of the massive portal, his crimson eyes scanning the sea of survivors before him. Hundreds of people. Men, women, children—all standing on the precipice of a new life.

"So… you brought everyone here?" he asked, his voice steady but laced with something deeper—relief.

Valeria stood beside him, her hands clasped behind her back.

"Of course," she said softly. "They were ready the moment I told them we had a way out. After everything they've lost… after everything they've endured… But now.....Thanks to you they've finally regained their homes....Thier lifes"

Aidan's gaze drifted across the bunker. Some people were still weeping, clutching what little they had left. Others whispered prayers to gods that had long forsaken them.

"They lost so much," Aidan murmured. "Some of them probably thought they'd never get a second chance."

Valeria turned to him then, a small but genuine smile on her lips.

"They have that chance because of you, Aidan." Her voice was filled with certainty. "You didn't just save us… you gave us our world back. You're our hero."

Aidan chuckled, shaking his head.

"Hero, huh? I don't know about that."

But as he looked at the hope shining in the eyes of those around him, he couldn't help but feel… pride.

Then his expression changed—something was missing.

"Wait…" His brows furrowed as he turned back to Valeria. "I don't see my father anywhere. Things have been so chaotic, I haven't even had the chance to talk to him."

Valeria hesitated.

"Aidan…"

Something in her tone made his chest tighten.

"What happened?" His voice was sharper now.

Valeria sighed, rubbing her temples.

"Your father… he was furious." She met his gaze. "The moment he found out what you were doing, he tried to leave. He wanted to fight alongside you."

Aidan blinked.

"He—what?"

"I couldn't let him go, Aidan." Valeria's voice wavered for the first time. "I knew if he went out there, he wouldn't come back. So… I knocked him out."

Silence.

Aidan's eyes widened.

Then—

"You… you knocked out my dad?" He exhaled, processing the information.

Valeria nodded, looking almost embarrassed.

"I just… I couldn't bear the thought of you losing him."

For a moment, Aidan just stared at her.

Then, to Valeria's surprise—he laughed.

"Good call," he said, shaking his head. "Seriously, Valeria… good work."

She sighed in relief, smiling as he patted her shoulder.

....

Aidan leaned against the cold metal wall of the bunker, staring at the swirling blue portal that would take him home. It was strange—for so long, all he had been focused on was winning. Surviving. Killing Thor. And now? It was over.

Valeria stood beside him, her arms crossed, her golden hair falling over her face as she hesitated to speak.

"So… you're really going now?" she finally asked.

Aidan nodded, his expression soft.

"Yeah… My world is in danger. I need to be there."

Valeria let out a small breath, nodding.

"Yeah, obviously," she muttered, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Her fingers curled slightly, gripping the fabric of her sleeve.

Aidan noticed.

"Something on your mind?"

Valeria hesitated. Then, she mustered up her courage.

"About earlier…" she started.

Aidan smirked. "No, it's cool."

"Yeah… I kind of said something crazy…" she laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. "I mean, yeah, thank you for everything, and all that, but like… don't feel burdened, okay?"

Aidan raised an eyebrow.

"Burdened?"

"Love is… a big word," Valeria admitted, her cheeks turning a deep red. "I meant—ugh, I meant like… I like you, okay? Don't feel bad or anything."

Aidan chuckled.

"Yeah, I mean, we've only known each other for a week." He shrugged. "Obviously, we wouldn't just fall for each other in that short amount of time. Like yeah, obviously."

They both awkwardly looked away, pretending as if nothing had happened.

Then—

"GOD, you two are pathetic."

Elsa's voice cut through the moment like a blade. She marched toward them, arms crossed, a look of pure exasperation on her face.

"Yes, it is possible to love someone in a week!" Elsa huffed. "And yes, you love him, Valeria! You blurted it out in front of everyone. We all know."

Valeria's face turned a darker shade of red.

"You're too damn smart… but also emotionally stupid." Elsa shook her head before turning to Aidan. "And you—she loves you. So take care of her."

Aidan blinked. "Wait, what?"

"I want you to," Elsa continued. "But my world still needs help. Leadership is needed here, and I'll take over."

Valeria's eyes widened. "Elsa! What are you even talking about? I'm the leader! I should be the one to—"

"No, you won't," Elsa interrupted, her voice firm.

Aidan and Valeria both stared at her in shock.

"You're going with him."

"What?!" they both exclaimed at the same time.

"Yes, you are," Elsa said without hesitation. "Valeria… we won. You got your revenge. You saved humanity. But it's time for you to be happy."

Valeria's lips parted slightly, but no words came out.

"You've never seen life when it's normal," Elsa went on. "How people used to just be happy. How they used to love each other. All you've ever known is war. Suffering. So yes, Valeria—you're going. You need to. You deserve it."

Valeria shook her head. "But… Elsa… what about the people here? Rebuilding? Keeping everyone together?"

Elsa smiled softly.

"No." She shook her head. "Humanity doesn't need a genius like you anymore. You've already done more than enough. You don't have to fight anymore. You can finally live. So go."

Valeria was stunned.

"What about… what about you?" she asked hesitantly.

Elsa smirked. "Thinking about me? You should be worried I'll steal him from you." She winked at Aidan before laughing. "But no, I need to stay. There are still battles that need to be fought. Remnants of the old rule. I'm needed here."

Valeria looked down, lost in thought.

Then—she felt a warm hand on her shoulder.

She looked up.

Aidan was smiling at her.

"It's your decision, Val."

She stared into his crimson eyes, her heart pounding in her chest.

Then, finally—

"I lied."

Aidan raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

Valeria took a deep breath.

"I do love you."

Aidan's eyes softened. He smiled.

"Good." He stepped closer, his hand sliding down to gently hold hers. "Because I love you too, Val."

She let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding.

"So… come with me. Be with me." Aidan extended his hand toward her.

Valeria looked at it.

Then, with a determined look, she placed her hand in his.

"Let's go."
