As Damon drove home from the hospital after he was done for the day, he thought about Jessica's visit to the hospital and replayed all that happened in his head.
While a part of his heart still ached at the memory of her action, he smiled when he thought about how she had returned to apologize and how honest she had been with him.
He was glad that he was with someone as open as Jessica who would rather talk things out honestly than run away from them.
He glanced at his dashboard when his found rang, interrupting the cool music he was playing, and his lips twitched when he saw that the call was from Jessica.
For a moment he considered ignoring it since he was just outside the gate but then he decided to receive the call and hear what she had to say.
"Hello, Doc D," she greeted in a sultry voice that made his lips curve in a grin.
"Now what are you up to?" He asked with a chuckle.
