While the chief investigator was waiting for the arrest warrant to be sent, Hunter was made to place a call across to Mark so that they could trace the call and find out where Mark was.
They knew without a doubt that he was likely not at his apartment and if they went there, he would find out they were on to him and disappear.
"Do not forget. The key is to keep him long enough on the phone for us to trace the call," the forensic technician told him.
Immediately, Hunter dialed his number and it didn't take long before he received the call.
Although there were four people in the office, the space was so quiet that if a needle dropped on the floor everyone would hear it.
"Hunter?" Mark asked, surprised that Hunter was calling back. He was glad that he had put Delilah back to sleep now, and she was sleeping like a good girl.
