Chapter 7 - A surprise reunion!

Approaching my father's formidable castle on the isolated island, I alighted onto one of the anchored ships amid the armored soldiers, whose initial panic at the sight of a winged figure swiftly transformed into recognition as they realized my identity.

The commanding voice of the soldier in charge rang out, compelling them to utter, "All kneel before the son of Alexander Corvinus!"

Acknowledging their respect, I addressed the soldier who had spoken, requesting his guidance to escort me to my father.

As their apprehensive glances fell upon William, Already knowing the history and potential threat of this particular Child of the Corvinus family.

I reassured them with a quip, "Don't worry about William."

"He won't bite much, unless provoked, of course"

A tense silence hung in the air as i remind the soldier in charge.

"If you would, kindly lead the way."

A collective sigh of relief swept through the soldiers as they returned to their tasks, allowing me to follow the designated soldier toward the castle's pinnacle.

At the summit, we stood before a grand door, where the soldier offered a respectful bow before retreating to his duties.

In the hushed quiet of the castle, a resounding "Bang, Bang" signaled my entrance, and at my greeting, the door opened to by another soldier to reveal Alexander Corvinus engrossed in his paperwork.

Interrupting his focus with a series of coughs to announce my presence, his stern demeanor evolved into a mix of irritation and soon turn to surprise as he beheld William's tranquil presence.

Voicing his bewilderment at William's demeanor, Alexander questioned, "How is he so calm? What have you done with your brother Marcus?" A wry smile graced my lips in response to his query, observing the change in his expression from surprise to puzzlement.

Addressing him with an air of confidence, I remarked, "Father, you appear to have lost hope?"

Taking a seat before his desk and mimicking the familiar stance of the original Marcus, I awaited his response as he fixed his gaze upon William, his expression transitioning from skepticism to contemplation.

"My Son, I have indeed lost hope, which led me to seek solace here with my people."

"But now I must inquire, what are your intentions with William's presence here?"

Alexander posed the question, prompting a raised eyebrow and a moment of silent contemplation from me in response to his inquiry.

In response to my tentative explanation regarding William's fate, Alexander Corvinus raised his eyebrows in contemplation, reflecting on the implications of my plan.

Finally, with a sense of resolution, he promised to provide a safe haven for William within the castle until suitable arrangements could be made for his transformation.

"My son, I will ensure that William has a place here at the castle while my people work on crafting an area where he can wander freely,"

Alexander announced, his words carrying a sense of assurance and compassion.

Upon hearing my father's definitive response, a wave of relief washed over me, dispelling the lingering doubts that had clouded my mind.

Though Alexander was a stranger to me in this new world due to my transmigration, his unwavering support and kindness towards William touched me deeply.

As Alexander rose from his desk and approached William, a profound silence enveloped the room.

Without hesitation, he enfolded William in a warm embrace, eliciting gentle whimpers of contentment from the lycan.

The expression of joy mingled with sorrow on Alexander's face, a poignant testament to the complex emotions stirred by this heartfelt reunion.

Witnessing the emotional exchange between Alexander and William, I marveled at the depth of their connection, transcending boundaries of species and circumstance.

Despite my use of compulsion to govern William's actions, his capacity to exhibit genuine emotion and self-awareness stirred within me a sense of wonder and introspection.

Ruminating on the scene before me, I raised a hand to my chin in contemplation, pondering the intricate tapestry of relationships and destinies that intertwined in this enigmatic realm of supernatural beings.

I pondered the complexities of our supernatural existence and contemplated the curious duality between William's primal instincts and sentient awareness.

Reflecting on the lore surrounding William's origins and the transformative potential of a vampire bite, I decided to shared my insights with Alexander, who appeared visibly struck by the revelation.

Upon sharing my knowledge with Alexander, a spark of realization ignited across his features, hinting at the possibilities that lay ahead.

Emboldened by this exchange, I forged ahead with a daring plan to abduct a transformed vampire at Viktor's castle to infect William's blood to see if he can become a hybrid if not ill use my own venom.

Leaving William under the thrall of Vampire hypnosis for containment, I unfurled my wings once more, casting a lingering glance back at the ominous medieval castle before taking to the skies.

In swift flight, I navigated towards a familiar terrain near Viktor Castle, passing over a village known for its abundant silver mines, a hub within Viktor's domain that held untold secrets.

Descending near the fringes of an unfrozen forest, I encountered a feral pack of Werewolves on the brink of aggression towards the nearby Mining Village.
