The figure slowly stood, allowing them to see their rat-like features. Not that they got to see much because the next thing that happened did so in a blur. The bolder they were behind broke on contact as the monster rat went through it, arm fisted back with a bored expression. His fist collided with Jamie's stomach with such force that she collided with the ground beneath her. She howled with pain as Alex yelled her name. The monster rat dark eyes traveled over to Milo with his cloak flying lightly behind him. The monster rat disappeared from view with a crack in the ground he was before reappearing in front of Milo with his fist drawn back once more. Just as the fist was going to connect, Amari—who activated Haste—got in between them, barely making it in time. The force of the blow had cracks appearing all throughout Amari's spear and caused her to fly into the wall. As she flew back, she thought, "If I didn't activate haste, I wouldn't have made it. Ah, shi—"
Sebastion jumps in the fray and hits the monster rat on the neck. The monster rat grinned sinisterly at Sebastion.
With not a single drop of blood on him.
Not a single injury, not even a scratch!
Sebastion's eyes widened in disbelief. Before the monster rat could hit him, however, Aaron appeared in front of him, blocking the blow as Alex threw his spear to move Sebastion out of the way. The monster rat towered over Aaron, and what followed was a series of groundbreaking clashes as Aaron's spear collided with the monster's fist.
The monstrous rat's leg swept under Aaron, who jumped up, dodging it. Aaron swung his spear down quickly with the monster rat dodging by sidestepping the attack. The monster rat then sent a fist to the side of Aaron's abdomen. As the hit connected, Aaron slid to the side but swung his spear to the side, causing the strong rat to try and dodge. It managed to mostly dodge, but the attack still managed to hit him, causing a large gash down his arm. Now separated, and there was a pause in the fight, the rest of the group saw this as their chance and rushed in. Two of Milo's arrows came from the right, and Amari charged from the left. Jamie charged from behind with Alex charging low at the front, and Sebastion jumped down coming from the top with an attack.
They had him surrounded.
Just as they were closing in, however...
he countered.
He sidestepped all their attacks with ease. Grabbing Milo's arrows, he snapped them in half. He extended his fist backward, hitting Jamie in the face, sending her into a wall with a crater forming behind her. He grabs Sebastion's sword and slams him into the ground. As Sebastion collided with the ground the monster grabbed Amari and Alex's spears with one hand each.
Grinning wide at the users of said spears, he used each respective hand and started spinning them.
Faster...
Faster..
and faster before throwing them to the walls, and everything went black.
