"I'm sorry, I didn't know," she apologized, stretching her hands out, but he balanced her, slowly turning around to face her.
"Leave!" He snared, his voice low with threat. Bella was taken aback as she had never seen him this angry.
"I was just trying to help. The rest of the soup is in the pot ." She said in a low voice and walked out.
She soon entered her car and drove off a short while later, catching the view of his mansion slowly disappearing from her rearview window. "Strange man"
She soon arrived home, and like always, her daughter rushed into her arms, excited.
Once she was done with dinner and her daughter had slept off, she went into her study, wanting to work on the documents
She opened her bag and noticed it was empty; leaving the study, she checked her car and still didn't see it. She paced around trying to think where she left it. When she recalled putting it down on a couch in his living room before making a call, she didn't take it back on her way out.
