(If you are suffering from any mental issues I would suggest to skip this part)

Please take care ❤️❤️

He smiled.

He got out of the car as he fixed his designer suit. He smiled at the flashing cameras which for any other person would have blinded them but he was already used to it. His eyes didn't even flinch as he walked down the red carpet amidst the screams of fans shouting his name.

His smile widened as he waved at them.

All that everyone saw on his face was happiness a mask of what truly lay underneath the masccarade. He stood at the center and waited for the reporters to take more pictures of him. But his heart was heavy.

Despite his unwavering stoic face in front of all the cameras he knew what lay underneath everything. Underneath the reporters breath. The words they uttered about him. He knew behind the screen of the numerous people watching their tvs at home were curses laid out to his name.

"How dare he have the audacity to show his face!"

He let out a breath as he walked towards the main venue after being given the go ahead.

His hands slightly shook but his face still held the smile.

Some even wondered why he always seemed so happy all the time. Everytime a picture showed up his face only showed happiness and a smile etched on his face which only made the hate they bore for him run even deeper.

Even now the smile on his face only infuriated them despite everything that happened this past month they wondered how he had the courage to show even the tiniest smile. In fact they has speculated he wouldn't show up to the event only to see his face plastered on their screens with the same smile they hated.

He sat at his designated seat. It was the furthest away. Unlike previously no one said anything to him. They just sat as far away as possible he even heard one actor demand to be changed to another seat.

He heard it.

He heard all their whispers yet his face remained unchanged and small smile slipped on his lips .

They didn't hide the disgust on their faces but could he blame them.

Everything had already spiralled out of control.

The table had successfully transferred three people to other tables as the others sat far away from him.

If the award show had been given a choice they would have dropped him from the awards all together but unfortunately for them the voting had ended before the controversial takes started.

The night felt like a cold knife on his stomach as it went by so slowly.

Finally his name was called out he stood up with the confidence he could master and walked up go the stage.

He took the award from the presenter before turning to face the room full of colleagues in the industry.

He felt his throat go dry as pain etched on his chest.

This didn't feel like it did back then. His body felt so heavy. He felt like he would crumble at the moment in front of everyone.

He didn't look at them he didn't want to add to the pain, instead he looked up at the spotlight shining down on him.

Now that he stood there the speech he had meticulously prepared vanished from his mind and it went blank.

Down below him were seniors, juniors, friends who once looked at him with so much adoration but could hardly make eyecontact now in fear that they would be dragged into the dark pit he was currently in.

He didn't blame them. He understood. They had to survive.

His right hand adjusted the microphone as the whole room feel into pindrop silence.

"Thank you to all my precious fans I am able to reach this point ." His words came out in a distant horse voice. His voice telling a story on its own. About the gravity that this award held for him. He almost didn't say anything but this was something he knew he had to do.

He placed the award down on the lectern and took a step away from it.

He held in his breath as he bowed before the cameras and everyone. It wasn't the normal 45° bow but he bowed 90°.

He wanted to convey his sincere thanks to those who showed him support till this point. He stayed like that for a minute the silence still dominating the space around him.

His eyes stung tears threatening to pour and his heart heavier as he felt himself get suffocated by the emotions running through his body.

But when he stood up all that there was was the smile.

He pick up his award and walked down the podium as eyes followed him.

He took his place back on the table and watched the rest of the event. Despite having a show and movie that were widely successful that year he didn't receive any other award.

That night as he placed the award beside his awards a smile formed on his lips. His hands softly caressed the award a sad expression taking over his face.

He stood up and picked up a picture frame beside the sofa and looked at it. Fondness filled his eyes and tears streamed down his face.

Two people started back at him one person on the others back as they looked at the camera. The happiness evident on their faces.

He softly placed it back to its original position.

He looked around the apartment and he felt his heart became heavier.

He had worked so hard to achieve this. To finally bought an apartment in this complex. They had dreamed about it. They had talked about it.

They were going to start their family there. Then when did everything get so complicated. When did everything fall apart.

Memories filled his mind of the past. He felt his heart bleed as he slowly walked toward the balcony.

He felt at peace as soon as the wind blew on his face. He felt like it was slowly caressing him. Giving him comfort.

He looked down.

Below him was a pool.

He looked up at the stars as more tears streamed down his face.

He had tried so hard to hold it in but now everything had fallen to pieces. He didn't know how to fix it.

He didn't even know as his body climbed the balcony rails all he felt was the wind caressing him before he felt his body get engulfed with the cold water hugging him. Yet the hug was the warmest he had felt in so long.

He felt at ease as he closed his eyes and let the darkness consume him.

He didn't struggle he just lay there.
