Jocelyn Morrow turns suddenly, her tail whipping through the air, and she nearly falls over, then grips the side of the gazebo for support and pulls herself up. In disbelief, she stares at Tina, with longing on her face.
Jocelyn whispers, "Oh, baby girl .. .please don't tell me ... Hades, you said--"
Hades holds up a dusky hand. "Your remarkable daughter has a long life ahead of her. She's here with my permission. I told you I would find a way within my power to reunite you."
Tina barrels towards her mother, not caring about the snake's tail or anything else. Her arms wrap around her mother, and Jocelyn's tail coils tightly around the two. She's not taking the chance that Tina will just disappear.
We fade into the background, letting these two have their moment. Rage builds inside me. The Consortium and Tina's father conspired to cheat a mother and daughter out of a life together. They may have been beaten, but clearly, they're still up to their old schemes.
