Chapter 378- God's Gate (Part 16)
Arthur felt his face break a sweat at the sight of this ungodly abyss he just witnessed. Nothing about it felt normal, not even its darkness. He could swear he heard wails and cries coming from deep within this endless fall.
But that was not even the worst part about it. What truly terrified him was how seamless it was in the way it blended with the environment around it. The hole was completely camouflaged by the darkness, making it almost impossible to see before it was too late. The only reason Arthur stopped was the fact he heard the sand falling through the hole and it made him freeze.
If he didn't hear that then he was going to fall into it without noticing. Almost like an overly large booby trap.
"Man… I almost fell there." Gulping down a mouthful of saliva as he laughed nervously. "Damn it… Why the needless jumpscare, you bastards? How is this hole even that camouflaged? It shouldn't be possible."
