Pei Qin's POV
I was walking back and forth when Zhao Feng coughed. I looked at him. "Your Highness, you mustn't walk like that, or else we'll get dizzy.
It will be bad for you, as we can't do our duties properly," he commented. I knew he just wanted to tease me. "Go ahead and check their envoy!"
He shrugs his shoulder and goes to the gate. I notice the mischievous smile of the other servants. They turn around and hide their faces. I sigh and turn to a sweet smile.
'Of course I'll be excited. I am now marrying my beloved woman. This is more than an auspicious day for me.' After a few moments, Zhao Feng rushes his way back.
"Your Highness, they're arriving!" he exclaims. "That's great then," the empress stated.
She finally comes out from my room. She made up the bed and made sure it's ready for our wedding night. "Let's go and wait for them on the gate," she added.
