"Ye Chen isn't inherently bad, and given his special status and identity, it wouldn't be wise for us to burn our bridges with him," Qin Ying said.
"What do you mean by that? Are you saying you have feelings for Ye Chen?" Qin Lan couldn't help but suspect due to Qin Ying's ambiguous attitude.
Qin Ying had once slandered Ye Chen for liking her, which might have been a case of the pot calling the kettle black—perhaps it was Qin Ying who liked Ye Chen.
