The night before her departure, Sophia noticed that Capone's lip was split and there were visible bruises. She was shocked, reaching out to touch it and asking, "What happened? Did you get into a fight with someone?"
Capone smiled dismissively. "It's nothing, I was just careless."
Sophia immediately guessed, "Did my brothers do this?"
Capone didn't deny it. Sophia sighed, "We were all fine a couple of days ago. Why did they still lay a hand on you right before I'm leaving?"
Had he said something he shouldn't have?
