"What do you mean by that? How could a genin like you be in the centre of all of this?" Hiruzen asked in confusion and curiousity.
"There were some genins who tried to attack us, at first it felt like they were trying to steal our badges to pass the exams. But then they started fighting with the intention to kill." Satoru said.
"I'm pretty sure Orochimaru informed everyone of the rules for this year's exams, how could they just directly try to go for the kill? What about the anbu? Why didn't they interfere?" Hiruzen asked.
"The anbu nin supervising their team attacked our team's Anbu nin, sir. Our team was forced to kill the genins in self defence. One of their team member looked to above the age limit and was significantly stronger...about chunin level, I believe."
'We made sure that people of similar age group will take part in the exams, while older genins will go separately. Even teams are supposed to have people of the same age who have graduated together.'
"So you are saying that your attackers were imposter some kind Assassins maybe?" Hiruzen asked
"Yes sir, that might be the case. When the anbu nin of their team killed our anbu nin, he said something about 'killing me and achieving his dream'. The anbu nin was dead set on trying to kill me like it felt personal for him."
"Danzo that bastard! He needs to keep his right hand man in check. That man is is simply a lost cause. Don't worry he won't attack you ever again, continue with what happened."
"That man stabbed Kaito and then tried to kill me, but was interrupted by someone." "Who?"
"Naka, if memory serves me correctly. One of the five leaders during the bandit mission, he was the one who got away and he probably knows me because he asked me if I remembered him when we first met. Satoru replied.
"He came back? Was he here just to protect you or perhaps did he know you were going to be attacked?" Hiruzen asked,
"He told me that he wasn't here to save me and it was more like two predators fighting over their food or something. The two began fighting, it was completely one-sided, the fight was over within a few moves.
Naka defeated him and was intercepted by Orochimaru-San, they both began fighting and it felt pretty even but then Orochimaru started winning."
"But this Naka has successfully managed to escape while Orochimaru was just found in a crater defeated." Hiruzen asked, he couldn't believe that his most talented student could lose to some random guy.
"While those two were fighting, the imposter came back to attack me, and again was stopped by Naka. There was a puppet created by black fibres which came out of his body, this puppet destroyed his arm and defeated him with ease." Satoru said,
"Earth grudge fear?" Hiruzen muttered. 'Earth grudge fear is a forbidden jutsu of the land of waterfalls, what is a user of that jutsu doing here? Even a man named kakuzu is with that ability out there...
...are they connected? We have not much information about this organization even after reading minds. Those people had seals placed in there heads to destroy themselves.'
"Sir what? Did you say something?" Satoru asked
"N-nothing...how did Orochimaru lose?" Hiruzen asked.
"I didn't see much but I heard a big explosion and saw green flames where she was. I was knocked out by the shockwave and woke up few seconds later, when I woke up the puppet and this Naka were gone." Satoru replied while holding the place where his head was bleeding.
"Thank you for your help, I'll make sure that you can resume with your exams as soon as possible." Said Hiruzen before walking away.
'I thought he would give a free pass after all the things we went through. Well at least we managed to survive unmolested.' Thought Satoru
Satoru watched the ninjas take away Orochimaru alongside a few other genins whomwere unfortunate enough to be caught up in the battle. Hiruzen looked at Satoru one last time before leaving.
'Naka...huh, and that Ichi. The paper work and now this...I need a smoke after this.' Exhaled Hiruzen as he flickered away

Satoru created yet another lightning fence and ensured that his team will stay hidden, Satoru kneeled down and bandaged Kaito as he was still weak from the wounds. "Do you want me to do the patrolling? You have been healing for so long even I can sense that you are low on chakra." Chosuke asked, worried for Satoru's condition
"Don't worry about me Chosuke, I'm simply returning the favor. Kaito and you were beaten black and blue by that guy while I was knocked out, Kaito got in this condition because of me." Satoru said as he completed the fence and then went back to healing Chosuke and Kaito.
"You are pushing yourself too hard! You need rest as well! Let me do the patrolling for now. You won't be able to keep this up the entire night." Chosuke said while forcing Satoru to sit and giving him a plate of food.
"Please...take it easy, I know you are feeling guilty for our injuries but you have helped enough. Just take it easy!" Chosuke while walking away with a limp.
Satoru watched Chosuke head out as he thought, 'It's not guilt Chosuke, these people followed me here and now want me dead, that Naka...what if that entire organization wants me dead? And those Assassins...that guy was so hell-bent on killing me.
What wrong did I do to them? I just followed orders and killed those bandits...I didn't do anything wrong! Were those Assassins from those clans? Do they want me dead too! Those were bad people too, I'm a hero...Danzo said I'm a hero! He said I SAVED PEOPLE!!! Why do they want to kill a hero? I DID NOTHING WRONG! I'M A HERO!!!'
Satoru unconsciously began crying, tear moved down his cheek as he absent-mindedly took another bite. His hands were shaking in nervousness as the spoon got closer to his face. He took another bite but instead of tasting the usual food taste he felt metal.
The metal brought him out of his thoughts, he looked to see his plate was moved away by Kaito as he was just absent-mindedly scooping air. Kaito was laying down on his side and held the plate, Kaito was looking straight at Satoru.
"Are those tears for me? Were you really that worried that I something would've happened to me? I'm kind off honored to know that my teammates care this much about me!" Kaito said his smile slowly got bigger as he spoke.
"I do care for you, Kaito but that's not why I was crying." Satoru said as he wiped his tears away.
"He's lying! Satoru spent four hours non-stop just on healing you *munch* he hasn't slept or eating since you got hurt. He even got revenge by blowing a hole through the guy who stabbed you! He is just too shy to say it." Chosuke said, entering their tent and grabbing a packet of chips.
"Shut up, Chosuke!" Satoru said while taking his food and going outside.
Kaito tried to get up but his attempt only met with failure, he fell back on the mattress in pain. "Satoru brought you out of your fatal condition. But you still shouldn't be moving around for a while. Just take it easy for now." Chosuke said as he placed some pain medication beside Kaito.
"I'm going out and staying with Satoru, if you need anything then let me know. Okay?" "Yeah" Replied Kaito as he swallowed a pill.
'Am I still too weak? I trained so hard to catch up to these two but I still got defeated the quickest. Was my training not enough? What should I do to catch up...what do I NEED to do to catch up.' Kaito clicked his tongue in frustration, he looked at the shadows of both his teammates outside the tent.
'Chosuke is from a clan...I get that he is strong but how did Satoru get this strong? He is even stronger than Chosuke. What does he do to get stronger?' Kaito thought right as the pill kicked in and he fell asleep.
"Hey I gave him the pill you told me to and then he fell asleep. He is currently snoring, what does it do?" Chosuke asked as he sat beside Satoru. "The blue one right? Kaito shouldn't be sleeping after that pill!" Satoru said concerned.
"I-I-I gave him t-the pink one! The one in your bag! Is it b-bad? W-what does it do?" Chosuke asked scared for his friend
"Chosuke listen to me very closely...when he wakes up don't do anything that could make him angry. Even if he gets slightly angered...then he will break your dick off. That pill was a poison I brought along for certain situations. It induces intense aggression and confusion." Chosuke fell to his knees in fear, worried that Kaito will enter him through his backdoor.
"Why did you even bring this kind of poison here? What is wrong with you?" Chosuke said while warily looking at the tent. "You remember the poison I gave to the clown, do you Chosuke? You understand the changes someone goes through if they eat this." Satoru said, already backing away towards
Chosuke ran and wore several layers of armored clothes to protect himself, he then looked to see Satoru had packed his bags and was leaving.
"Where are you going? You can't leave me here with him, he will violate my rights!" Chosuke begged Satoru to stay.
"Chosuke there is no happy ending for you, I'm sorry bro! Kaito will tear through your defences, conquer you and then will march towards your backdoor with his rage induced spear in hand. You cannot leave him here to die... I'm sorry but you'll have to take one for the team." Satoru said as he left.

"Hey! When are you coming to sleep? You cannot use ninjutsu so what's the point of you staying awake?" Nawaki said as he looked at Dai who was randomly strolling around and occasionally annoying their teammate.
"I don't know I just don't feel sleepy yet, maybe I'll just burn off some calories and tire myself out to sleep." Said Dai as he began doing push-ups.
"Bro...you need to preserve your strength for tomorrow. We just need one more badge to complete the exam." Nawaki said while yawning.
"Just one? Which one? I can give you if you want one." Satoru said suddenly popping into existence in front of nawaki.
"Whoa! HOLY SHIT!!" Nawaki shouted while throwing a kunai at Satoru, who caught it "Calm down".
"What are you doing here? How did you you sneak past my teammate?" "I walked my way here."
"Chosuke accidentally fed Kaito a poison which causes aggression, a lot of it. Now it is no longer safe being with them." Satoru said while taking out the pouch which Naka gave him.
"The one you gave to your jonin sensei? They way tatsuo explained it made it sound very funny!" Nawaki said while sitting up and looking at Satoru.
" Hahaha, It was just as funny as tatsuo explained it. I gave him the poison and then left him to fend for himself as he tried his best to fight Mitsuki-sensei." Said Satoru while scratching the back of his head.
"Isn't Mitsuki-sensei your mom now? Tatsuo said that she was planning to adopt you on something." Asked Nawaki.
"She said she'll adopt me if I win the chunin exams, else I'll stay an orphan." Said Satoru.
"I still can't believe that out of all the people from our generation, you are getting adopted first, congratulations though!" Remarked Dai
"Hey...why didn't you just use the antidote on your friend? The same one you used on your sensei after she made him sleep on the couch." Asked Nawaki recalling what Tatsuo said.
"Why didn't I think of that? OM MY GOD! Chosuke I'm coming to save you!" Said Satoru while running towards his camp.
