The car entered the gates of West Suburb Villa.
"Please register unfamiliar vehicles," the security staff at the gate stepped forward to register the license plate while asking for Li Zhao's identity information, "Please provide your name, phone number, ID number, and show me your driver's license, thank you."
Li Zhao's face was filled with panic. The places he frequented had never required such strict checks, even asking for his driver's license. He thought this was a residential complex, not a traffic police squadron, and he felt more like a traffic violator who had been caught rather than a visitor.
Just as he was about to flip out his driver's license, Xia Lu leaned forward, "Hello, I'm a homeowner here."
The security recognized her immediately, "Mrs. Zhou?"
Xia Lu nodded, "It's me. This is a friend of mine, just driving me home today. He'll leave soon, not staying long."
