Jessica could not even leave the conference room. She was subdued within moments of her trying to escape.
While Kyrell held her, Luther handcuffed her, working in tandem to prevent her from escaping from the place.
"Well, that went differently than I thought," Luther said, once Jessica had been forced to sit on her chair.
With Kyrell guarding the door, she had no chance to escape.
"Same here, although it ain't that surprising," Sienna agreed, giving Jessica a look that sent chills down her spine.
"Miss Bernie, will you get talking here or shall we move somewhere else?" Luther asked, allowing her to choose. "Somewhere more daunting. Perhaps, the setting might encourage you to start talking."
Jessica trembled when she realized what place the policeman was talking about. It had to be the police station.
