As usual, Seraphina spent another sleepless night working in her office when she received news of what Marc had done.
Even though Liam hadn't shared the exact details of what happened to Luca, just the thought of that repulsive, arrogant man was enough to make her beautiful face twist with anger.
Still, she never let emotions interfere with her rational decision-making. That's why she calmly asked Liam what he had done to handle the situation. And she was pleased to hear that he had managed to resolve most of the problems competently.
From the beginning, Seraphina had been the most skeptical about Liam, whereas her friend seemed to have a clear favoritism toward him. In general, she had never quite understood why Vanessa valued him so much.
Well, at least until recently. After all, the more time she spent around him, the more evident it became that Liam was, in fact, incredibly reliable.
