Clara was once again awake at night, monitoring the house of a certain man. It was a risky and dangerous investigative job, but she was always willing to take it on.
After all, there was a truth about this city that she wanted to uncover.
Thinking about that, she remembered Liam and how, during their first encounter, he ended up interrupting her while she was trying to track one of her suspects.
At the time, she thought it had been a major stroke of bad luck. She didn't show it in her expression, but inside she was devastated, believing that the case and the man had slipped right through her fingers.
That said, having an interview with the hero Liam turned out to be, at least, a great consolation prize.
Or that's what she thought. Back then, she couldn't have imagined that meeting him would bring her much closer to uncovering all the secrets she had always wanted to investigate.
