Logan had been making fun of Hazel whenever he found her in the kitchen in the middle of the night, looking for something to eat.
"You are eating for two. I will never make such a statement. Eat," Ranon said; and with that, Hazel ate his breakfast happily. She was indeed still hungry. The strawberry cake and the soup didn't help.
Probably she needed two strawberry cakes for breakfast from now on.
After their small conversation, Ranon walked out of the bedroom to have a phone call with Lucian and Ares because after the crucial information that Hazel gave him, there were a few changes for their later meeting.
"I will come back for a while." Ranon then stood up, but he tucked a strand of Hazel's hair behind her ear when he walked past her so it wouldn't get caught when she ate her cake.
He did it without even thinking. But this small gesture didn't go unnoticed by Hazel.
