Riley shrugged, "I had nothing else to do, so I just came over early."
Gordon said, "Jimmy, that Javier Vance has already been caught. He confessed last night that he was the middleman, responsible for purchasing and inspecting goods. He wasn't involved in the subsequent transportation."
Jimmy exclaimed, "Ah, that's the first piece of good news today. What about El Kroger? Has he confessed?"
Gordon shook his head, "He's a tough nut to crack, but he should break soon. Kerry and the others didn't go home at all last night; they stayed up dealing with him."
Jimmy asked, "Was the Los Angeles apartment checked?"
Gordon replied, "It was clean. They didn't find anything. It seems their target has always been New York."
Jimmy sighed, "When will this end? This case is too troublesome."
Gordon looked at Jimmy and smiled, "We're doing pretty well, at least we've been making progress on the case. Without these leads, we'd still be out there looking for bombs."
