The broadcast kept repeating this, allowing the base's residents to be in the know.
Gu Pan looked at Lu Ruisheng, "It's a pity we didn't get a chance to see the Underground City of the base."
Lu Ruisheng, smiling, pinched Gu Pan's cheek, "You're so curious; if you want to visit, once the hail passes, we can discuss it with dad, and a visit shouldn't be a problem."
Gu Pan nodded, "That would work." Then, she added, "If this hail keeps up, in another two months, we might be able to go there without dad's help."

Suddenly, both of them fell silent, knowing that when they needed to go, it meant the roofs of their houses couldn't hold up anymore.
The next day, they both took binoculars and stood on the second floor, watching as specially modified vehicles picked up people, one building after another.
