Gu Pan, Lu Ruisheng, Squad Leader Fang, and Cheng Yang occupied the last four beds in room 108, while Duan Shumei, Chen Lang, and Lu Xuerong took the first, second, and third beds in room 109.
They were quite satisfied with this arrangement; it was always better than having someone separated out alone, which would have made everyone uneasy.
The base's Underground City really was like a refuge. The rooms for twenty people weren't large, with bunk beds crammed closely together, without gender segregation as it wasn't a place for long-term residence. In terms of seeking shelter, there wasn't room for fussiness.
