The students, professor Noah and Annerson came to a halt infront of a large metallic door.
Edward walked towards the pedestal at the side of the door, and placed his hand on the screen. After a minute or two, a ding-sound rang out, before a giant microscope emerged from the roof.
It closed the distance with Annerson, before scanning the facial expressions of the man. Finally, a short knife with a glass strip appeared on the same pedestal, Annerson had kept his hand on.
Annerson took the knife and pricked his finger, placing knife on the pedestal, yet again. He rubbed the blood crippling from his finger on the strip, before kneeling down and inserting it into the small rectangular shape.
Another ding-sound rang out, before a voice spoke.
"What is the weakness of the Electric grondhogs?" Annerson, full of calmness and confidence looked up and answered.
"They are incapable of using their thunder-related abilities in the ground as the ground insulates electricity" the metallic door opened, revealing large glass cages with some containing huge and others contains small beasts and monsters. Each of them seemed to have been experimented on.
Annerson walked forward and turned towards the students.
"This is the main hall which we use to experiment on monsters all the way to Castran-ranked monsters. Remember, do NOT touch the cages, as it could worsen their hostility" He said.
"Of course, if you have any discomfort, do not be embarrassed to tell us about it" professor Noah said, eyeing Lucas.
The students were terrified, some were filled with empathy while others were beyond astonished.
"This is..." Lucas muttered, grabbing both professor Noah's and Annerson's attention "amazing!"
Everyone, were even more astonished when Lucas spoke. How could anyone feel satisfaction, when another LIVING being is being tortured, until they are given the gift of death?
