Chapter 374 - The Bronze Dragon God and the Undercover Pantheon Operative

Mysterious Study Room, Rosen's Eternal Holy Radiance had already expanded to the size of a marble.

All the useless miracle relics had been incinerated by the Eternal Holy Radiance.

Though it was only the size of a marble, the heat it emitted surpassed even the Solar Divine Fire. It was especially effective in restraining the Eternal Dark Sun Source—so much so that even when the Dark Sun Source fused with the Eternal Evolution Source, it was still unable to resist the Eternal Holy Radiance's suppression.

It was worth noting that the Dark Sun Source, once fused with the Evolution Source, was so powerful that even an Ancient God's Plunder Source couldn't compete with it.

The only reason the Plunder Source had been able to suppress it before was that no one controlled the Dark Sun Source—so when it was scattered, the Plunder Source could take advantage of it.

This meant that, at the eternal level, the Eternal Holy Radiance was currently the strongest known force.

It was unlikely that such power could have been achieved solely through the Ring of Dimming Light or the faint hope of all beings.

Rosen regretted not studying the original powers of the Ring of Dimming Light before fusing it into the Miracle Sequence.

Now, he suspected that the Eternal Holy Radiance had not been this formidable to begin with. It had likely grown stronger only because it was merged into the Miracle Sequence, and due to the influence of the Eternal Miracle Source, it kept absorbing and burning miracle relics, becoming increasingly powerful. The true source of this power, then, was not the Eternal Holy Radiance itself, but the Eternal Miracle Source.

Rosen withdrew the Eternal Holy Radiance and took out the Miracle Pouch, opening the World Window once more to activate the miracle trait Treasure Hunt.

With the Miracle Sequence having advanced to the True God level, all ten miracle relics he had fused had been enhanced to True God rank.

As a result, the Miracle Pouch's Treasure Hunt ability could now function at the True God level without needing an equivalent exchange for enhancement.

After scanning the area and finding nothing, Rosen used the Interdimensional Gate to continuously shift locations across the God Tomb Starsea.

Yet after scouring the region, he failed to locate any new miracle relics. It seemed that only one had been born here—the Ring of Dimming Light.

He also attempted to search for the source of the God Tomb Starsea, but it was too well hidden to be found.

As for looting the God Tomb Starsea—raiding these divine tombs that were once the divine nations of fallen gods—it would cause a massive uproar.

After careful consideration, Rosen decided to abandon the idea.

There were still countless untapped resources in the Old World, waiting for him to harvest.

There was no need to be greedy for the divine nations of the God Tomb Starsea. If he provoked the World Will, the consequences would be no joke. He was not yet strong enough to confront the World Will head-on, and it wasn't worth becoming a target over minor gains.

Though he had gained nothing more from the God Tomb Starsea, good news arrived from the Ancient God True Realm.

Wendy was about to ascend to True Godhood, and at the same time, his Bronze Dragon Clone would ascend to divine status.

Wendy had already refined the Fruit of the Historical World, fusing an entire historical world into herself. She had also refined the Tree of the Historical Sequence and gained mastery over the Law of History.

As a deity already at the peak of her rank, she could integrate her Divine Nation into the Fruit of the Historical World at any time, using it as a foundation to advance to True God.

Wendy's ascension was seamless, but the Bronze Dragon Clone was still lacking something.

At present, the Bronze Dragon Clone had mastered the Law of Time and Space and had refined the Historical Secret Realm. All it needed to do was merge this realm into the Historical Dragon's Nest, integrating countless historical records into the Eternal History Book to ascend to divinity under the Forbidden Sequence.

However, Rosen didn't want just a Forbidden Sequence ascension—he wanted at least an Immortal Sequence breakthrough.

Thus, the Bronze Dragon Clone's ascension required additional external support.

Wendy would ascend as the True God of Historians.

As for the Bronze Dragon Clone, Rosen planned for it to abandon the Historian Sequence and instead focus on the Dragon Bloodline Sequence of the Bronze Dragon. After all, with complete mastery over the Law of Time and Space, it would be a waste to relegate it to a Historian path.

Using the Source Blood Dragon Pool, the Bronze Dragon Clone could ascend to divinity through its bloodline—just like the Little Dragoness.

From divinity to True Godhood, the fundamental requirement was mastering a law.

However, simply mastering a law was not enough to become a True God. Even though Rosen had mastered many laws, he was still just a deity.

Ascending to True God required more than just law mastery...

In addition to that fundamental requirement, the Divine Nation had to advance, the necessary elixirs for Sequence ascension had to be prepared, the divine mind had to evolve into True God Will, and most importantly, the ascension had to be supported by the Power of Fate.

The best kind of Power of Fate was Civilization's Fate.

This was why the rise and fall of civilizations always gave birth to numerous True Gods.

If the Fate of Civilization was insufficient, then the Fate of Profession could make up for it.

As the strongest Historian and the President of the Historian Guild, Wendy had no shortage of Professional Fate. That was why her ascension to True God proceeded effortlessly. As expected, a few days later, Wendy successfully advanced to True Godhood in the Ancient God True Realm.

At the same time, Rosen's Bronze Dragon Clone was immersed in the Source Blood Dragon Pool, infused with potions.

During Wendy's ascension, Rosen's true body had not been idle for even a second.

He had done something truly terrifying—he transformed the historical records of the World Government, stored within the Historical Secret Realm, into books on the Omniscient Bookshelf. Then, he extracted a portion of history from these books to create a Book Realm and, using his Dimming Light Spirituality as a medium, permanently resurrected the beings within the Book Realm.

Over the course of the World Government's twenty-thousand-year history, it had never been a smooth and bloodless journey.

Countless empires and kingdoms had been destroyed, entire continents laid to waste by the wars of True Gods. Over the span of twenty thousand years, the total number of casualties reached into the quadrillions. Even reviving just a fraction of them was enough to provide the Bronze Dragon Clone with an endless supply of believers.

Technically speaking, Rosen's clone never lacked followers—his Glorious Kingdom in the Ancient God True Realm alone had worshipers beyond count.

The Ancient God True Realm had undergone multiple instances of a thousandfold time acceleration. During this period, believers who died of old age had their souls reincarnated across various World Fruits. The total number of followers was already more than enough to support several True Gods. However, none of them were as suitable for the Bronze Dragon Clone as the resurrected followers.

This was because the Bronze Dragon Clone, as a master of the Law of Time and Space, was best suited to believers who had died in the past and been resurrected.

These revived beings naturally bore the imprints of the past, present, and time itself.

Their faith brought countless hidden benefits to the Bronze Dragon Clone.

As endless faith poured into him and as the power of the Source Blood Dragon Pool and potions continued to refine and elevate his bloodline, the Bronze Dragon Clone finally began igniting his Divine Fire.

His Divine Source and faith clashed and fused, gradually integrating with the Law of Time and Space to kindle the Flame of Time and Space. As the divine fire tempered his entire being, his Dragon Pearl became the core, housing his Divine Source and the Extraordinary Essence within his bloodline, ultimately forming his Divine Persona.

During the Bronze Dragon Clone's ascension to divinity, his True Body Self-Portrait was simultaneously incinerated by divine fire.

The Bronze Dragon Clone was no longer a mere Self-Portrait Clone—he had become a true Divine Clone.

The advantage of a Self-Portrait Clone was that it could be easily revived after death. However, its major flaw was that its growth potential had a hard limit.

Thus, Rosen chose to abandon the Self-Portrait Clone, granting the Bronze Dragon Clone the chance to permanently become a real Bronze Dragon.

[Bronze Dragon Divine Persona: Sequence 0 Divine Persona]

[True Name of Divine Persona: Rosen Saint Howard...]

[Divine Source (Virtual): 140]

[Attached Divine Fire: Flame of Time and Space]

[Law: Law of Time and Space]

[Divine Sequence: Time-Space Walker]

[Innate Divine Art: Cycle of Time and Space]

With a single thought, the Bronze Dragon Clone surged out of the Source Blood Dragon Pool, soaring into the sky.

Originally, the Bronze Dragon had been a winged dragon species, but now, his wings had shed, transforming him into a wingless divine dragon. The horns on his forehead intertwined into a clock face with a pointer. His bronze-colored scales had all turned into pure platinum.

The Time-Space Walker Sequence was an Extraordinary Sequence Rosen had created based on the Historian Sequence.

For now, it was still incomplete. It had only just begun integrating various Extraordinary Sequences related to Time and Space through Root Compatibility. What it could ultimately evolve into remained unknown, but even in its current form, it was already terrifying.

This was because the Bronze Dragon Clone no longer needed Historical Imprints to travel into the past and observe past timelines.

Although altering the past was still nearly impossible, he had already gained complete control over the present.

Cycle of Time and Space referred to the clock face formed by the intertwined dragon horns on his forehead. If the clock's hand moved forward, time accelerated effortlessly. If it moved backward, time rewound just as easily. The speed of the hand's movement determined the flow of time around him.

When combined with his mastery over space, Cycle of Time and Space granted him a level of control over time and space that rivaled even the Law of the World.

With the Divine Fire having fully refined his Divine Persona and Divine Body, Rosen began using his clone to establish a Divine Kingdom.

The Historical Dragon Nest began merging with the Historical Secret Realm, integrating various Extraordinary materials imbued with the attributes of time and space. He even dismantled Boya's Gate of Time and Space and Hourglass of Time to use them as reinforcement materials. In the end, even the Historical Dragon Nest and Historical Museum were forcibly taken apart.

After careful consideration, Rosen abandoned the idea of constructing his Divine Kingdom with the Historical Dragon Nest as its core.

Instead, he chose to use the Eternal Tome as the foundation, transforming the Bronze Dragon Clone's Divine Kingdom into a world within the Eternal Tome.

Mastering the time and space of reality itself was nearly impossible—not even the Ancient Gods had achieved such a feat, let alone the Bronze Dragon Clone.

Reversing time was one thing, but truly traveling through time to return to the past was nearly impossible. Any alteration to the past would trigger an infinite cascade of changes. In truth, whenever someone claimed to have altered the past, they had actually changed only the present.

It was like resurrecting someone from the past—strictly speaking, it wasn't bringing them back but granting them new life.

Having control over the present time and space was already a remarkable feat. Controlling the past in reality was impossible, but within a book, controlling both the past and the future was much easier. Since reality's past could not be altered, modifying the past within a book became far more manageable.

In this regard, no one had a greater say than a Playwright, who could rewrite scripts as they pleased.

As the Historical Dragon Nest merged with the Eternal Tome, the Omniscient Bookshelf assimilated the Eternal Tome as well.

In the final step, the Historical Dragon Nest was forcibly converted into the Book Realm, and the Book Realm became the Bronze Dragon Clone's portable Divine Kingdom.

[Eternal Tome: Miracle Divine Kingdom]

[Rank: Sequence 0]

[Miracle Attribute: The Eternal Tome houses the Book Realm of Time and Space, allowing unrestricted alteration of time and historical events within it.]

[Miracle Characteristics: Temporal Dragon Nest, Temporal Museum, Temporal Assimilation]

Both the Historical Dragon Nest and Eternal Tome were Miracle Artifacts, making the Eternal Tome a Miracle Divine Kingdom. However, it lacked the Absolute Uniqueness and Eternal Indestructibility properties of true Miracles.

At the last moment, Rosen had infused a small portion of Eternal Holy Radiance into the Eternal Tome.

Originally, two Miracle Characteristics were on the verge of forming, but the Eternal Holy Radiance erased them entirely.

Rosen had already realized that while Absolute Uniqueness and Eternal Indestructibility seemed beneficial, they likely concealed significant hidden dangers.

If Miracles were composed of Eternal Source Essence, then where would the Eternal Source Essence of a Miracle ultimately belong?

Would it return to the Ancient Gods? Or to the true origin of all Miracles?

At first glance, these two Miracle Characteristics seemed to grant absolute uniqueness and indestructibility. However, in reality, they ensured that the wielder of a Miracle Artifact could never fully own or control it. That was why he had erased them with Eternal Holy Radiance.

As expected, the newly forged Eternal Tome felt much more natural and effortless for Rosen to wield.

When he extended his perception into the Book Realm of Time and Space within the Eternal Tome, he found that he could manipulate its time at will.

Even if the Book Realm had developed for a thousand years, he could instantly reverse everything back to a thousand years ago.

Even if a True God were pulled into the Book Realm by the Bronze Dragon Clone, they would be nothing more than a plaything at his mercy.

Rosen then familiarized himself with the three Miracle Characteristics:

Temporal Dragon Nest allowed him to create Bronze Dragons.

Temporal Museum could store all artifacts containing time imprints, and the more he stored, the greater the benefits the Book Realm received.

Temporal Assimilation enabled the fusion of the Book Realm with real-world time and space.

It was well known that a Divine Kingdom was a god's ultimate stronghold—True Gods would never recklessly step into another deity's Divine Kingdom.

Normally, it was incredibly difficult to lure an enemy into one's Divine Kingdom.

However, Temporal Assimilation allowed him to merge the Book Realm with real-world time and space through his Temporal Domain. This meant that enemies fighting him in real-time would unknowingly be drawn into the Book Realm, granting the Bronze Dragon an absolute home-field advantage.

As Rosen gazed at his Bronze Dragon Clone, a thought suddenly occurred to him.

Perhaps his Bronze Dragon Clone could infiltrate the Pantheon of Gods.

He had the Omniscient Magic Eye and didn't need spies to gather intelligence. However, if he wanted to exert direct influence over the Pantheon of Gods, sending in a powerful infiltrator was necessary.

Rosen had mastered Eternal Mimicry, so not even the will of the world could necessarily see through his disguise. As long as he provided a reasonable identity, he wouldn't have to worry about being exposed.

"The progenitor of the Bronze Dragons... it seems his cause of death was never confirmed."

Recalling the history of the Bronze Dragon race, Rosen immediately thought of the perfect disguise.

Back then, the progenitor of the Bronze Dragons disappeared while ascending to True Godhood. According to the records left behind in the Dragon Realm, he had attempted to grasp the laws of time and space. However, since the new world's laws of time and space were impossible to control, he had instead tried to master the localized temporal laws within the Dragon Realm.

Yet, the temporal laws of the Dragon Realm alone were insufficient for the progenitor to ascend as a True God.

As a result, he was devoured by the backlash of these laws and perished. But since this was not an honorable fate, the dragons never publicized it. Apart from a few Dragon Gods, no one knew that the progenitor of the Bronze Dragons had truly fallen.

After the Dragon Realm detached from the Astral World and drifted deep into the void, no one could be certain what had truly transpired there.

If the Infernal Blood Dragon could lure the Nightmare Dragon Spider into a trap and then escape, then it wouldn't be too surprising for a Bronze Dragon Progenitor to have survived as well. As for how he managed to ascend as a True God, that could easily be attributed to the Old World.

Since the new world's laws of time and space were too difficult to grasp, he could have traveled to the Old World through a hidden passage within the Dragon Realm.

There, he successfully mastered the Old World's laws of time and space. Then, with the partial fusion of the Old and New Worlds via the Divine Mountain Sea Domain, he seized the opportunity to integrate his understanding and ascended as a True God of the new world.

Although there were still some flaws in this explanation, it was enough to prevent others from immediately connecting his Bronze Dragon clone to his true self.

After all, the Bronze Dragon clone infiltrating the Pantheon Hall would not present itself as a mere deity but as a True God—one superior to his original body.

With 140 points of divine essence, his godhood was no weaker than that of True Gods. Moreover, Rosen had already mastered Immortal Will, so possessing the Will of a True God was a given.

The Temporal Book World within his Eternal Chronicle was on par with the Divine Realms of True Gods. Under the disguise of Eternal Mimicry, no one would be able to tell that the Bronze Dragon clone was a false True God. And even more absurdly, no one would believe that his true body remained at the deity level while his clone had already surpassed him.

At the Divine Mountain Sea Domain, Rosen's Bronze Dragon clone forcefully broke through the outer blockade and escaped the region.

The Great True Gods guarding the perimeter attempted to intercept him, but they were utterly incapable of stopping a Bronze Dragon accelerating through time.

The slightest movement from a Great True God would cause massive disturbances, so many True Gods across the new world took notice.

After escaping from the Divine Mountain Sea Domain, Rosen soared into the Astral World and headed straight for the Pantheon Hall.

At present, the Pantheon Hall welcomed all deities and True Gods alike, provided they were willing to swear an Oath of Fate.

Thus, the Bronze Dragon clone easily joined the Pantheon Hall, integrating his mimicked divine essence and fabricated temporal laws into the Fate Clay Tablet to generate a True Name of Fate. Since no one could deceive the Fate Clay Tablet, no one questioned the authenticity of his identity.

There was no need for elaborate explanations—his identity as the Bronze Dragon Progenitor was immediately accepted.

However, it wasn't long before many True Gods started visiting him.

Some came to establish connections, while others sought to test him with missions.

Rosen did not expose any flaws. In the shortest time possible, he spread the word of his terrifying precognitive and resurrection abilities throughout the Pantheon Hall.

During his conversations with other True Gods, he effortlessly foresaw numerous life-and-death battles between deities.

He even helped some foreign-race True Gods resurrect their fallen kin at a relatively low cost.

With his frightening resurrection and foresight abilities, the Bronze Dragon clone instantly became one of the most sought-after deities in the Pantheon Hall.

The fate plundering would inevitably arrive, and True Gods would eventually tear each other apart in mortal combat.

Despite the current surface-level peace of the Pantheon Hall, deadly conflicts brewed beneath the facade.

However, without a direct battle to the death, it was nearly impossible to determine the victor between two True Gods. Ordinary precognitive methods were ineffective against them.

The Bronze Dragon clone, on the other hand, had mastered the laws of time and space and could foresee the outcome of battles between True Gods. For the weaker party, this knowledge was invaluable.

If they knew in advance that they would lose and die, they could avoid that enemy and target a weaker foe instead.

The Bronze Dragon clone's presence significantly increased the survival chances of many True Gods.

Moreover, his ability to resurrect the fallen was an immeasurable boon to the powerful races.

It was difficult for True Gods of different races to truly trust one another.

Even True Gods of the same race wouldn't fully trust each other, but at the very least, they wouldn't be foolish enough to betray their kin in the face of external threats.

Especially when it came to reviving fallen True Gods—those who were resurrected would naturally owe a favor to their savior.

As long as they weren't complete scoundrels before their deaths, they wouldn't shamelessly ignore this debt.

After all, no one could guarantee that they wouldn't fall one day. Everyone hoped that if they perished, their kin would do everything possible to bring them back. If one's reputation was too poor, they might find themselves abandoned even after death.

No matter how scheming True Gods were in the dark, few would openly tarnish their reputations to such an extent.
