In the Ancient God's True World, within the Source Blood Dragon Transformation Pool, the Yinglong clone also began ascending to godhood.
Among Rosen's clones, the Yinglong clone was the easiest to elevate. After all, it had inherited the power of Yinglong and the Dragon God Laws. It had only delayed its ascension until now to allow the Bronze Dragon clone to ascend first.
Since the Bronze Dragon clone was also a dragon, strengthening the dragon race would, in turn, enhance the Dragon God Laws.
The Infernal Blood Dragon stood beside the Source Blood Dragon Transformation Pool, watching expectantly as the Yinglong God refined its divinity.
At first, the Infernal Blood Dragon had been unwilling to become a subordinate god, even preferring death over submission.
However, after witnessing the immense foundation of the Bronze Dragon clone and realizing that the Source Blood Dragon Transformation Pool could offer it an opportunity for further advancement, it had immediately and eagerly accepted becoming a subordinate god—solely for the right to enter the Source Blood Dragon Transformation Pool.
The Yinglong clone held the Source Blood Dragon Pearl in its hands and slowly merged it into its own dragon pearl.
At the same time, with the help of Rosen's true body, it gradually absorbed the essence of Eternal Mimicry.
As the Progenitor Dragon, Yinglong could naturally transform into all dragon species in existence.
Now, by mastering the power of Mimicry, it could not only transform into dragons but also mimic anything in the world. This ability surpassed that of the Dark Sun Slime, granting it an even more formidable shapeshifting capability. Furthermore, by utilizing the power of Eternity, it could elevate its bloodline into the Immortal Sequence.
At that moment, all dragon followers in the Ancient God's True World began channeling their faith and the fortune of the dragon race toward the Yinglong clone.
Under the relentless impact of the countless dragon followers' faith, the divine essence of the Yinglong clone ignited a divine fire. It then fused the fortune of the dragon race with the Dragon God Laws, merging its own bloodline with its dragon pearl, ultimately forming the Yinglong Divinity.
[Yinglong Divinity: Sequence 0 Godhood]
[True Name of Divinity: Rosen Saint Howard...]
[Divine Essence (Virtual): 140]
[Subordinate Divine Fire: Mimicry Divine Fire]
[Laws: Dragon God Laws, Creation Laws, Genesis Laws, Destruction Laws]
[Divine Sequence: Genesis God Sequence]
[Innate Divine Art: Progenitor Dragon Mark]
The transformation from the Yinglong clone's ascension to godhood had exceeded even Rosen's expectations.
The hidden laws within its bloodline awakened, directly elevating the authorities of Creation and Genesis into full-fledged laws. As for the Destruction Laws, they were born due to the destruction of the Dragon Realm. Though only a nascent form of the Destruction Laws, they were among the few that could pose a threat to the will of the world.
The Genesis God Sequence was an exclusive sequence Rosen had created by integrating various sequences into the Yinglong clone.
By utilizing the Genesis God Sequence's abilities, the Yinglong clone could create countless small and large worlds at will. Moreover, with the Destruction Laws, it could obliterate these worlds. The more worlds it created, the stronger its foundation would become, and the more worlds it destroyed, the more terrifying its destructive power would grow.
Lastly, there was the innate divine art, the Progenitor Dragon Mark—an ability unique to the Genesis God Sequence at Sequence 0.
Its function was simple: in any world created by the Yinglong clone, as long as the inhabitants worshiped the Progenitor Dragon Mark and believed in the Yinglong clone, their faith would directly strengthen their world. These worlds could sustain themselves purely through faith, without needing to draw from external sources of origin.
Normally, only independent worlds established by Immortal Gods or Demons could exist autonomously from the worlds shaped by the Ancient Gods.
Even the divine kingdoms of True Gods had to extract origin power from either the new or old worlds to sustain themselves.
However, this would inevitably create karmic ties.
However, this would inevitably create karmic ties. But with the Progenitor Dragon Mark, even the smallest world casually created by the Yinglong clone could sustain itself through faith alone. While self-sufficiency might lead to slower development, the ability to exist without incurring karmic debts was far more valuable than anything else.
Rosen took out a massive amount of resources, and the Yinglong clone began using them to create worlds.
He had the ability to craft a divine kingdom for the Yinglong clone that would rival the Eternal Tome, but in the end, he decided against it. The Yinglong clone did not need a fixed divine kingdom—every world it created through the Laws of Creation was its divine kingdom.
The Yinglong clone prioritized quantity over quality—the more worlds, the better.
Each world it created was a seed for a divine kingdom that could continuously grow.
Right now, due to the lack of a powerful divine kingdom, the Yinglong clone was losing a portion of its strength. But once it became a Great True God and eventually advanced to an Immortal God-Demon by establishing an Immortal World, these worlds—free of karmic debt—would serve as the perfect material for creating that Immortal World.
Now that all of his clones had advanced to Sequence 1, Rosen was only a step away from becoming a True God.
Of the supernatural sequences he had mastered, aside from the Primordial Pharmacist Sequence granted by the Primordial Potion, both the Noble Hunter and Painter Sequences had been integrated into the Root Sequence.
Although the Root Sequence encompassed countless abilities, it could not include every single sequence's powers.
Miracle Skills, for example, had always been beyond the Root Sequence's ability to simulate.
Every miracle was connected to the essence of Eternity and contained a portion of Eternal Miracle Essence.
Because of this, the Root Sequence had been unable to replicate Miracle Skills in the past.
Even though Rosen had mastered Miracle Skills from three different supernatural sequences, they had never been fully integrated into the Root Sequence.
He had only been able to forcefully assimilate them using the compatibility of Eternal Essence.
But now, things were different. Rosen had grasped the Eternal Miracle Essence. While he still could not create miracles at will, and the Root Sequence could not freely simulate Miracle Skills, he could now perfectly fuse the Miracle Skills he already possessed into the Root Sequence.
The difference between forced assimilation and perfect fusion was enormous.
As his Miracle Skills fully merged with the Root Sequence over the past few days, each of them underwent a qualitative transformation under the power of Eternal Essence. The greatest change occurred in his Nen ability.
Since Nen could manifest different forms, its fusion with Eternal Essence resulted in drastic enhancements.
The God-Slaying Crossbow's damage boost against Dragon God's Wrath became even stronger. The Gluttony Nen Beast evolved into the Root Nen Beast. The God-Hunting Demon Eye had already transformed into the Omniscient Magic Eye. The golden apples growing on the Golden Apple Tree now surpassed those of the original Golden Apple Tree.
Just eating one of these golden apples could permanently enhance a being's divine essence and bloodline, as long as they were below the level of a god.
Furthermore, the magic seed formed from the Seven Deadly Sins Authority and the Seven Deadly Sins Nen Beasts had undergone profound changes. The magic seed had become the Root Magic Seed, while the Seven Deadly Sins Nen Beasts had evolved into seven distinct Eternal Essence Nen Beasts—each of them at least as powerful as a Forbidden Sequence deity.
The Universal Printer had also undergone a qualitative transformation, now capable of printing divine supernatural artifacts.
As for the God's Palette, which could originally turn anything into God's Pigment, its scope had been limited to the level of Laws. Now, however, it had been elevated to the level of Eternal Essence.
Lastly, the spirit of the Parasitic Small World Tree had evolved to the point where it could completely transform the Small World Tree into Rosen's clone.
Upon reaching Sequence 1, Rosen had gained the ability to create a new self-portrait clone.
He could also craft a divine clone, but he chose not to do either. Instead, he had been waiting for the Tree Spirit's evolution so that he could completely transform the Small World Tree into his clone. Using the Tree Spirit still created a layer of separation, but now, it was time to claim full control over the Small World Tree.
Standing before the Small World Tree, Rosen forged a Root Magic Seed and sent it into the heart of the tree.
With the Tree Spirit's cooperation, the parasitization process proceeded smoothly.
The Root Magic Seed merged entirely with the Small World Tree, plundering and extracting its origin to fuel its own evolution. However, rather than directly transforming the tree, it regressed it to its fundamental state and began evolving it anew.
The Small World Tree visibly withered, and Rosen quickly plucked all the large and small spirit realms hanging from its branches. He also detached the nine World Fruits, as they had fully matured.
Even after being separated from the Small World Tree, these World Fruits could continue to exist indefinitely.
As time passed, the Small World Tree shrank and weakened further. Eventually, it regressed into a seed, which completely fused with the Root Magic Seed in the process. Even the Tree Spirit merged into the seed, becoming its most fundamental divine essence.
Under the continuous evolution and reinforcement of the Eternal Root, the seed formed from the Small World Tree's regression began to transform.
As time went on, its metamorphosis reached its peak, and the seed finally began to grow.
It sprouted roots and shoots, continuously absorbing the Eternal Root energy stored within it.
In just a few moments, it had grown from a seed into a three-meter-tall sapling.
Though still only a sapling, it had already reached the level of a deity and had become Rosen's clone during its growth process. His divine essence had thoroughly merged with it as it developed.
Rosen examined the sapling before him and found that he could no longer sense the Laws of Time and Space.
This was because, during the Root Magic Seed's parasitization, the Laws of Time and Space had been completely stripped away and transferred to the Bronze Dragon Clone.
Without the Laws of Time and Space, the sapling did not generate World Laws in their place.
Instead, it went a step further and established the Eternal Root as its core.
Thus, this was no longer the Small World Tree. Rosen had sacrificed the Small World Tree, using it as nourishment to reshape this new sapling, which had the Eternal Root at its core. The most accurate name for this sapling was the Root Ancient Tree.
The Root Ancient Tree had eight roots. Seven of them corresponded to seven different Eternal Essences.
The main root, at its core, corresponded to the Eternal Root, which could transform into any of the seven Eternal Essences at will.
In the Old World, Rosen secretly descended via data transmission.
After leaving the Divine Bookroom, he released the Root Ancient Tree from the True Realm of the Ancient Gods and planted it in the ground.
The three-meter-tall sapling remained unchanged in appearance, but its roots rapidly spread underground and into the void, frantically absorbing the dispersed Eternal Dark Sun Essence and Eternal Plundering Essence of the Old World. These were then completely converted into the Eternal Root within the Root Ancient Tree.
As the Eternal Root accumulated, seven World Fruits began to grow at the tree's crown.
This was the only power inherited from the Small World Tree—each World Fruit carried one type of Eternal Essence.
The Eternal Root itself, however, would not form a World Fruit. After all, the Eternal Root was merely a fusion of multiple Eternal Essences. To produce a World Fruit of the Eternal Root, the Root Ancient Tree would have to grow to the level of an Immortal God-Demon.
The seven Root World Fruits were still in their embryonic stages, but they already displayed terrifying power.
All beings living in the seven worlds would acquire unique innate abilities derived from the corresponding Eternal Essences.
However, since the Root World Fruits were still incomplete, they would require the Root Ancient Tree to ascend to True Godhood before they could fully mature.
Rosen extracted a portion of the Eternal Root from the Root Ancient Tree and used the God's Palette to convert it into pigment.
A divine brush materialized in his hand as he painted in the void.
Before long, a Small World Tree appeared—it was only at the level of a deity. Creating a True God-level Small World Tree would have been difficult.
But for now, this would suffice. The Small World Tree was the core of the True Realm of the Ancient Gods. Without it, the realm would be significantly affected. For the time being, he could only replace it with a temporary version, as the upgraded Root Ancient Tree needed to remain in the Old World.
Unless the Old World's Eternal Essence was completely drained or an unexpected disaster occurred, Rosen had no intention of retrieving the Root Ancient Tree. After all, its entire purpose was to extract Eternal Essence.
Through his divine essence, Rosen examined the specific attributes of the Root Ancient Tree.
[Root Ancient Tree: Eternal Scion]
[Rank: Sequence 0]
[Divine Essence (Virtual): 150]
[Life Essence: 150]
[Sequence: Root]
[Divine Kingdom: Seven Root World Fruits]
[Eternal Law: Root Law]
[Divine Persona: Eternal Divinity]
[Eternal Essence: Root (Miracle, Dark Sun, Omniscience, Mimicry, Compatibility, Plundering, Evolution)]
[Eternal Divinity Art: Limited True Creation]
Apart from the fact that its Divine Essence was virtual due to being a clone, in every other aspect, the Root Ancient Tree's attributes were nearly on par with Rosen's true body. Moreover, it possessed an Eternal Divinity Art different from Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence—Limited True Creation.
True Creation was inferior to Omniscience and Omnipotence, but as the saying goes, every craft has its specialization.
Rosen could also create real objects using Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence, but the energy consumption was undoubtedly higher than that of the Root Ancient Tree. After all, the Root Ancient Tree had inherited the Small World Tree's power and specialized in creation. The deeper one's mastery of the same power, the lower the cost and the greater the effect.
Rosen's grasp of the Eternal Plundering Essence was nothing compared to that of the Ancient Gods.
So, even though Limited True Creation seemed inferior to Limited Omniscience and Omnipotence, in reality, the former compensated for the latter's high energy consumption and its lack of foundation. As he continued to master more similar powers, the day would come when the words "Limited" in front of Omniscience and Omnipotence would be erased.
All four of Rosen's clones had fully ascended to godhood, so he began developing Sequence 0's Nen Ability.
Each Sequence level granted one Nen Ability—this was the true value of Nen, the Miracle Skill.
In his hand, Origin Nen Energy continuously materialized. Before long, it permanently crystallized into a radiant gem that looked identical to an Eternal Divinity, though it was actually a counterfeit—an Eternal Divinity manifested from Origin Nen Energy.
This Nen Ability, Rosen named "Virtual Divinity".
It did not contain the Root Sequence, but it did include the Player Sequence he had created in the True Realm of the Ancient Gods.
Leveraging the power of the Eternal Root, Rosen upgraded the Player Sequence.
The original Player Sequence only allowed individuals to hunt lifeforms in the True Realm of the Ancient Gods to gain experience and grow stronger.
However, as all the believers in the True Realm of the Ancient Gods had taken on Player Sequence as a secondary class, its power had grown over the years. Now, with the Eternal Root and the Virtual Divinity formed through Nen, the sequence had undergone a qualitative transformation.
Any Beyonder who fused with a Virtual Divinity would instantly gain the Player Sequence.
With this, reality could be treated as a game.
Killing lifeforms would yield loot through the Hunter Sequence's compatibility.
Experience could be plundered using the Eternal Plundering Root.
Eternal Compatibility Root allowed players to forcibly seize the extraordinary characteristics of their prey and multi-class into different Beyonder sequences.
Eternal Evolution Essence enabled direct evolution of the abilities one mastered.
In essence, anyone who possessed a Virtual Divinity could completely treat the real world as a game.
Even an ordinary person who obtained a Virtual Divinity could use the Player Sequence to hunt monsters and level up rapidly, reaching godhood in no time.
If a player accumulated enough experience—also known as Hunter Points—and then hunted a True God, they could even use the Hunter Map to exchange for the laws mastered by that True God. This would allow them to ascend to True Godhood through the Player Sequence—which was currently the upper limit of this version.
Rosen's goal was simple. If the World's Will intended to raise a "Gu" (a battle of survival), then so would he.
The World's Will had created Fate's Plunder using the Tablet of Fate, so why couldn't he use the Player Sequence to create the Fourth Calamity?
As long as a player's Virtual Divinity remained intact, they could resurrect infinitely through it.
Thus, Rosen's Player Sequence was fully worthy of being called the Fourth Calamity.
Fate's Plunder primarily targeted Sequence 1 Demigods and those above, while the Player Sequence targeted all lifeforms in the world. Since the Ancient Gods' Awakening and the New World's Reset meant that all beings would eventually perish, why not slaughter them first and cultivate a group of Players before that happened?
Rosen held supreme control over all Virtual Divinities. Ultimately, the growth of the Player Sequence was nothing more than the cultivation of Virtual Divinities.
Whenever necessary, he could retrieve all Virtual Divinities and reclaim the Eternal Root that had been gradually expanding within them.
The Ancient Gods relied on their slumber, rebirth, and world resets to nurture the living beings of the world.
But before they could awaken, he would use the Fourth Calamity Player Sequence to harvest all life in the main world ahead of time.
However, doing this would mean completely breaking ties with the World's Will in a life-or-death struggle.
Thus, for the first batch of Players, Rosen didn't even select his own believers from the True Realm of the Ancient Gods.
Instead, he planned to distribute the first Virtual Divinities to every True God with a divine throne in the Old World.
Most of these Throne-holding True Gods only had Demigod-level strength in reality.
They knew full well that in this grand era, they were merely cannon fodder for the great True Gods.
Upon discovering Virtual Divinities, even if they suspected it might be another pitfall of divinity, most of them would still choose to accept it—because they had no better option.
The unknown Virtual Divinity meant a new hope.
Since data transmission could not penetrate the Divine Mountain and Sea Region, Rosen had to sneak in through a Dimensional Gate, stealthily approaching each target before distributing the Virtual Divinities.
Most Throne-holding True Gods fused with the Virtual Divinities upon receiving them, while a small number hesitated and stored them away.
As for those who tried to betray him by reporting to the Great True Gods—they were all assassinated by Rosen.
Each Virtual Divinity was essentially a clone of his Eternal Divinity, an extension of the Miracle Skill: Nen, and fused with his Eternal Root.
Thus, they could never escape the surveillance of the Omniscient Magic Eye, nor could they evade the tracking of the Dimensional Gate in the Mysterious Study.
Rosen was certain that within no time, hundreds of True God Players would completely throw the New World into chaos.
