One thing Kelsie admired about Kelvin was his ability not to let his feelings show.
She could feel his hostility toward her, but he always had a smile on his face. If she didn't know better, she would be one of the many hospital staffs saying Kelvin Reynolds was the best man they had ever come across.
"Dr. Sutton, will that be a problem or would you like me to send you the termination later once I go up to my office?"
He was also very cunning and clever. But as good as he was at masking his feelings, he always failed to mask his desperation.
And at the moment, Kelsie could see he was really hoping she'd choose the former option.
"It'll be cruel of me to opt out instead of saving Mr. Howard. When he said he wouldn't be having the surgery, I didn't think he was being serious. I'll go schedule a meeting with him now."
She was about to leave when the man called her back.
