Chapter 148 - Marvel 148

"Fuse them all into her."

The System activated, and before his eyes—

A dark energy engulfed the entire group, twisting and reshaping their bodies into a single entity.

When the light faded, a new Dark Elf woman stood before him—her body radiating unreal power, her red eyes burning with loyalty.

She knelt immediately.

"I exist only to serve you, my master."

Max grinned. "Now that is what I call an upgrade."

Max studied the woman standing before him, intrigued by the results of the fusion.

Her silvery-gray skin had a slight metallic sheen, smooth yet eerily otherworldly.

Her long, midnight-black hair wasn't just dark—it shimmered with tiny twinkling lights, like a starry night sky woven into strands.

Her elongated ears made her unmistakably elven, yet her presence felt different—more refined, more powerful.

But what truly stood out were her eyes.

They weren't just red like the Dark Elves before her.

Instead, they resembled the cosmos itself—swirling nebulae and stardust dancing in her pupils, as if the universe had been trapped inside them.

Max said " Enchanting" this is the word that came into his mind as he saw those eyes.

He scanned her abilities, confirming what he already suspected.

Abilities:

Psionic Energy Manipulation - Ability to create and manipulate the Psychic energy on high level. ABle to Manifest them as weapons' too.

Psionic Wings – A pair of ethereal wings made of pure psychic energy, allowing her to move at insane speeds and attack with devastating force.

Minutian Core – The ability to shrink and expand molecular structures, making her attacks impossible to predict and her defenses nearly impenetrable.

Dark Matter Manipulation – Full control over dark matter, enabling her to warp reality slightly, create weapons, and unleash devastating energy-based attacks. ]

Max leaned against the command console, gazing at the newly fused Dark Elf woman.

"You can drive this ship, right?" he asked casually.

The woman bowed her head respectfully. "My Lord, my name is Malaika. I can pilot this mothership and any other Elven technology aboard. I also possess all the skills and knowledge of the Elven race."

Max nodded in approval. "Good."

Then, a thought crossed his mind. "By the way, are there other Elves out there? Or are you the last of them?"

Malaika shook her head. "There are only a few who believed in the Dominion. The rest still live on our home planet."

Max tapped his chin. "Huh. Well, I don't really wanna massacre an entire race, so I guess I don't need to worry about that… at least not yet. Good thing I fused all of you into one hot version instead."

Malaika's lips curled into a small, pleased smile.

Max stretched, cracking his neck. "Anyway, set course for a planet called Morag"

Malaika nodded immediately. "As you command, my Lord." She turned and began inputting the coordinates, activating the ship's hyperspace engine.

Max leaned back into the captain's chair, grinning. "Time to collect another Infinity Stone before that so-called Population Control Director does."

As the ship prepared for departure, he muttered, "Man, I really need a more comfortable chair…"

With a snap of his fingers, he pulled one out from his inventory—a ridiculously luxurious throne-like seat from his inventory, it is a random gacha he got one day.

What was once considered waste was now coming in handy.

As he sank into it, hands behind his head, the Dark Elf mothership jumped into hyperspace—

And Max's hunt for the next Infinity Stone began.

*****

A few days had passed as they traveled through space, searching for their next destination.

Of course, Max had spent plenty of quality time "exploring" Malaika's newly enhanced body, thoroughly enjoying every ride—and sometimes riding her himself.

Now, today, they had finally reached Planet Morag.

Malaika, still sitting on his lap, stretched gracefully before getting up, her legs slightly shaky after their latest "intense exercise."

She turned to him with a sultry smirk, brushing her Midnight hair back.

"Master, you are… incredible," she purred.

Max chuckled, grabbing her by the waist. "We can continue later, after I get my little gem from this place."

Malaika nodded obediently, stepping off his lap.

She snapped her fingers, instantly cleaning herself with a wave of dark energy.

Max was also about to clean himself when she stopped him.

"Let me, Master," she whispered, kneeling in front of him.

Max shrugged, letting her do as she pleased, which led to yet another session.

One hour later—after yet another 'exercise' session—Max finally stood up, fully refreshed.

He stretched, cracking his knuckles, and turned to the planet below.

"Alright, let's see what Morag has to offer."

And with that, they descended onto the planet's surface, ready to claim their next prize.

***

Morag was once inhabited by a thriving and technologically advanced humanoid population. Before its destruction, the citizens of Morag constructed a large temple structure to house and protect the Orb, an Infinity Stone.

Due to unknown climate-altering factors, Morag became submerged by oceans and uninhabitable. The planet is now abandoned, and the oceans only briefly recede to expose landmasses once every 300 years.

Max and Malaika hovered over the water-covered planet, scanning its surface.

"Well, looks like we got here at the right time," Max smirked. "Good thing these tides can't stop us."

Without hesitation, he dove straight into the water, his body coated in mana, allowing him to breathe and move effortlessly.

Malaika watched him dive in, her cosmic-like eyes shimmering before she followed him, swimming gracefully beside him.

Their hunt for the Orb had begun.

Max and Malaika continued their search, diving deep into the submerged ruins of Morag.

Sometimes, they had to return to the ship for rest, regather their strength, and then dive back in for another exploration run.

This cycle continued for days as they mapped out the vast underwater ruins, searching for the temple that housed the Orb—the Power Stone.

But instead of finding the temple…

They stumbled upon something else.

Something far more ancient.

Something colossal.

Right in front of them lays a massive dead body, the Dead body of an Celestial.
