A/N: Hello readers. Yes, it's me and I'm not dead. I just have been dealing with real life personal issues. Plus I haven't felt motivated to continue my other stories. I need to be in the mood to write them, since I don't want to dish out trash chapters like other works I've read on webnovel.
Since it would be unfair to you all.
Which is also the reason I deleted my Green Lantern story. Since I didn't like where it was headed and instead decided to do this one.
An SI into the MCU with the skills of none other than Mister Terrific from DC Comics. The comic version, not the Arrrowverse version.
No offense to anyone.
Anyway, I hope this is too your liking.
Oh and once more unless I delete a story and say it is dropped I still plan on continuing it someday. But when that will be I can't say.
Until then hold out and once more I hope you enjoy my Mister Terrific fic.

Hello there.
My name is John Doe.
Well, okay really it's not. But that's what you can call me. Seeing as how I can't remember my name.
In fact I can't remember anything about myself in regards to personal details.
Not my name, the name of my parents, the name of my friends, where I worked, where I lived, etc.
The only thing I know for certain is that I was an adult when I died.
Yes, you heard me right.
I died.
I'm dead.
So now you're probably wondering why a dead man is talking to you?
Well it's because you're about to learn what happened to me after I died.
Which I didn't even know at the time was just the start to something incredibly amazing.
So without further ado, let's dive right in.
So you can learn what happened to me after death.
***
My entire being nothing but a white orb I floated in all white space, which stretched in all directions around me.
Right in front of the Grim Reaper from Family Guy.
Well actually it's not really him.
No, instead it's just the form the being who has decided to give me a second chance has chosen to take to speak to me. For he informed me that if I ever laid eyes on his true form my mind would collapse from the strain.
Like something straight out of an HP Lovecraft story.
So accepting this explanation, since questioning it might lead to a fate even far worse than death, I kept my mouth shut and listened as the being, who I have chosen to refer as Death, explained his reasons for giving me a second chance at life.
Which he summed up in one word.
"Entertainment." Death spoke.
"Entertainment?" I questioned.
"Yes, entertainment." Death replied.
Sounding exactly like Norm MacDonald.
"You see every now and then I select the soul of a recently deceased and reincante them in a world that they only once knew as fiction. I then observe them to see what actions they take once they are there. For I find this activity quite interesting."
"So basically you just want to watch your own form of reality television." I surmized.
Death nodded. "Basically." He easily admitted. "Alright then with the explanation as to why you are here is out of the way let's move onto the next step."
Snapping his bony fingers I suddenly found Death standing next to a giant wheel like you would see on game shows like Wheel of Fortune.
Taking note of the board I immediately realized it was covered with the names of various fictional male characters from my previous life.
"It's time to see what character template fate will grant you."
"Character template?" I questioned. "Also, what about the world I'm going to be reincarnated into?"
"Oh right. Excuse me, sometimes I get a bit ahead of myself." Death spoke. "So to answer your second question first I've already decided what world you will be reincarnated into. It is the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU as many people call it. Though with some slight changes. And before you ask, no I won't tell you about said changes in the MCU you'll be reincarnated into. That would ruin my fun." He explained.
Then I could swear I saw Death grinning like a maniac.
Though I'm pretty sure it is only my imagination.
Probably.
"Now as to your first question when I refer to a character template I mean I will spin this wheel I summoned and then whatever character it lands on you will receive their skills and powers in your new life. Think of it like a starter pack. Which is something I give to all souls I choose to reincarnate." Death explained.
"I see. Thank you for explaining things." I said.
"No problem. Now enough talk. Time to get this show on the road." Death spoke.
He then snapped his fingers once more.
After he did the wheel started spinning.
It then went around several times before finally stopping on a single name.
>Michael Holt/Mister Terrific<
Cool.
Seems I don't have shit luck.
For although he has no innate powers from what I remember about him Micheal Holt/Mister Terrific was one of the smartest individuals in the entirety of DC Comics.
He was an inventor, an Innovator, and a polymath.
The man held 14 PhD's in multiple subjects and various doctorates.
So with that type of brain power within any version of the MCU I think I'll be just fine.
I hope.
Given that Death just told me there would be differences in the MCU he's going to reincarnate me into than the one I know.
But well it's a second chance at life, so there's no way I'm going to pass such an opportunity up.
This just means I'll have to stay on my toes.
I'll need constant vigilance, as a certain wizard likes to say.
"Mister Terrific huh. Not bad at all." Death mused.
"Yeah, I agree." I replied.
"So with that you are done. Goodbye and good luck. Also I hope you make your life entertaining for me." Death spoke.
He then snapped his bony fingers once again.
After he did I found myself surrounded in complete darkness before my mind simply went blank.
