Chris stepped forward and carefully examined the item before determining it was Landorus's tail.

When Landorus takes its Incarnate Forme, its tail resembles more of an elegant decoration situated at the front. However, in its Therian Forme, it manifests as a distinct beastly tail.

"The legendary Pokémon's item is its tail?" Chris wondered aloud, reaching out to pick it up.

He placed the tail in his bag and decided to inspect its attributes through his handheld device. However, it wasn't listed under either the props column or the valuables section.

"Is this not an item?" Chris muttered in confusion.

Eventually, Chris found it categorized under the Berry Bag.

Wanzi Berry: A Pokémon gains permanent mastery over the earth upon consumption.

This clearly came from a dead tree. How could it be a berry?

Intrigued, Chris studied its attributes again. It was unmistakably a legendary berry for Ground-type Pokémon, boasting an extraordinary ability: permanently enhancing their connection to the earth.

"This is fantastic!" Chris thought. "Among my Pokémon lineup, Garchomp and Steelix would benefit most from it."

Still, Chris wasn't planning to feed it to either of them.

"Just kidding! I'll grow these myself!" he chuckled. "A legendary berry capable of such power is better cultivated for the whole team!"

He navigated to the nearest fruit field in the game, cleared some soil, and planted the Wanzi Berry.

However, a dialog box popped up on the computer screen:

[Note: Without Landorus on your team, the berry won't grow.]

"Of course, it wouldn't be that simple." Chris sighed, realizing that legendary berries required a legendary Pokémon's presence for cultivation.

Reluctantly, he decided Garchomp would eat the berry for now. Replanting it would have to wait until Landorus joined his team.

Chris couldn't help but feel disappointed that the tail wasn't Landorus's signature item. "What was I thinking? A god-tier Pokémon wouldn't leave such an important artifact lying around."

Yet, he felt grateful for discovering the legendary Wanzi Berry. The trip wasn't a waste.

Before leaving, Chris decided to scan the area again with his Dowsing Machine. If there were two Landorus forms, there might be more treasures.

The Dowsing Machine's signal didn't budge from where the Wanzi Berry had been.

"Could there be something else?" Chris knelt down and dug deeper beneath the tree's roots.

To his amazement, he unearthed a transparent bead. Khaki-colored light swirled within it, reminiscent of the natural energy of the earth. He quickly retrieved another bead from his bag for comparison—one containing a vivid lightning charge, which he'd obtained earlier from Zapdos.

"Could this be the divine artifact of Landorus?" Chris marveled, staring at the khaki bead.

With two treasures in hand and a legendary berry consumed by his Pokémon, Chris's expedition was shaping up to be far more fruitful than anticipated.

Chris turned on the handheld device to examine the bead's effects. The display read:

The power and range of Ground-type moves are doubled. The recovery speed of physical strength is doubled. Within a radius of 30 miles, the growth rate of all plants is doubled when this item is at the center.

Chris was awestruck. This truly was a treasure.

However, its effects were somewhat different from those of Zapdos's Treasure. While Zapdos's Treasure focused on ultimate offensive power—doubling the strength and range of moves to an unprecedented level—Landrous's Treasure leaned more toward utility. It improved plant growth efficiency and enriched life itself.

This contrast likely stemmed from the roles of the gods. Landorus, often called the God of Fertility, embodied abundance. Its presence in myth was always associated with restoring harmony after Tornadus and Thundurus fought. By absorbing the energies of wind and lightning generated in their battles, Landorus nourished the earth, revitalizing the soil and promoting fertile lands.

Legends even claimed that after storms and lightning, Landorus's visit guaranteed a bountiful harvest. Fields it blessed thrived, earning it the title of the "God of Farmland."

Chris couldn't help but wonder: would Landrous's Treasure's effects extend to the berries in his handheld?

Normally, berries could be harvested once every two days, but now they were ready for collection daily. This effectively doubled his profits.

A grin spread across Chris's face. If his usual income was 2,300 Pokédollars a month, doubling it was nice. But if it reached 300 million Pokédollars? That meant 600 million!

Swallowing hard, Chris resolved to give this treasure to Garchomp. As his strongest Ground-type Pokémon, Garchomp deserved to wield such a sacred item.

"This is finally a legendary item my Pokémon can use," Chris thought, "unlike Zapdos's Treasure, which just sits idle in my bag."

Speaking of Zapdos's Treasure, Chris still doubted whether it was a true divine artifact. Divine items were rumored to be unique to legendary Pokémon with godlike status. Yet, the Zapdos he encountered during the thunderstorm was only level 89.

"A level 89 god?" Chris mused skeptically. "Zapdos wouldn't stand a chance against any Landorus, especially a God-level one."

Chris compared the moves' power demonstrated by Elite and Champion trainers in videos. He believed Pokémon at the divine level couldn't possibly be as weak as level 89.

What puzzled Chris more was why Landorus didn't carry such a crucial item. Instead, it was left in its lair, seemingly to aid the growth of Wanzi Berries. Could that really be the reason?

Shaking his head, Chris decided not to dwell on it. "Whatever the case, this item is in my hands now. That's all that matters."

With two legendary treasures in his possession, Chris felt this trip had been incredibly fruitful. Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling there might be more. Taking out his trusty Dowsing Machine, he scanned the area again.

The machine beeped faintly, signaling a weaker Lock On response northwest of his current position.

"Not a legendary item this time," Chris muttered, disappointed. "Still, let's check it out."

With that, Chris turned and headed toward the new target, eager to see what awaited him next.
