Room G-7, Overwatch Headquarters
The trio sat on the floor in a circle as their laughter mingled with the clinking of plates and glasses as they worked their way through the impressive spread of food. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts—all demolished in record time. The once-overflowing cart was now barren, with only their drinks remaining.
Emma leaned back against the couch as she cradled an empty bottle of chocolate milk.
"One sec… *burp* okay…"
She sighed deeply with a satisfied smile on her face as she stretched her arms over her head.
"Ahhh, now that's the life…"
There was such a relief in her voice.
"There's nothing I love more than a bottle of chocolate milk after being starved for three friggin' days."
She rolled her shoulders lazily before adding.
"Honestly, if I hadn't slowed down my body by resting, my fast metabolism might've kicked in, and who knows how bad that could've gotten. But in a way… this was kind of a training I didn't know I needed."
