CIARA
"Ciara Elizabeth Dante, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"
I gasped, my hands flying to my mouth as a fake squeal slipped past my lips.
I forced my eyes to shine with tears, nodding enthusiastically as the cameras started to flash wildly.
"Yes! Yes I will marry you."
Noah smiled at my words and slipped the ring — a very enormous diamond — on my finger.
Then he stood up, swept me into his arms, and kissed me.
The flash of the cameras going wild only registered dimly at the back of my mind. I stayed still, closed my eyes, and tried to pretend as if I was kissing my fiancé back.
After a long, torturous moment, the kiss ended.
Hand in hand, we walked out of the restaurant. The moment we both stepped into the car though, I yanked my hand away from his and turned away to stare at the window.
