NOAH
The moment that curse word left Luke's lips, my entire body turned rigid.
I had no idea what the damning article was about, but from my sister's and Luke's reaction, it had to be bad.
"Noah. I am going to need you to drive, now. You need to go and see Ciara. That woman must not see this article," Luke snapped all of a sudden, his entire demeanor changing as he scrolled frantically on his phone.
My mind, which had been split into a million pieces as I tried to decipher what this was about, immediately went into overdrive at Luke's statement.
I pressed down hard on the brake, my heart pushing violently against my chest.
"What does this have to do with Ciara?" I asked.
Luke stared at me like I was crazy. "Noah, drive!" he insisted.
I glared at him. For some reason, my phone wasn't blowing up, and I knew Luke must have deleted my social media handle or something.
"Please, drive, Noah. This is urgent," he stated, a little bit less forcefully this time.
