I flew into Noah's arms, my body trembling wildly. He wrapped his arms around me immediately, his hands tightening around my body.
I held on to him like he was a lifeline and I was drowning, my tears streaming down in gushes.
"You're okay. You're okay. I've got you," Noah whispered into my hair. All the issues, the fights and misunderstandings between us faded away like it had never happened.
We stayed there for a long while, uncaring that we weren't the only people in the room. When I finally managed to stop crying and pulled myself together, I slowly disengaged from the hug.
Marcus was glaring at us, but he couldn't do anything. Police officers surrounded him, making him immobile and unable to act.
I pressed myself against Noah, craving the warmth of his body.
