Harriet refused to talk to us for days. She ignored my calls, refusing to pick them even when I called repeatedly for hours.
It made me a little bit frustrated, but I was at sea. I didn't know what to do. My sister had always been there for me.
She was my biggest support system, and I would not have gotten where I was today if she hadn't been there to back me up all the way.
And now, now that things seemed to be going exceptionally well for me, now that I needed her to be happy for me, she was refusing to talk to me.
It frustrated me to no end.
I placed the phone down after calling for what seemed like the thousandth time and sighed.
"You know, if she wanted to pick up, she would have. Calling over and over is not going to make her change her mind," Luke said.
