After fifteen minutes of multiple displays, Caroline sent another broadcast out.
"The bids are in. You can all proceed with killing yourselves now," the broadcast read.
"Thank you to everyone that joined in the bidding," Ares said as he lifted his head from his phone screen. "I'd like to borrow a page from Tony's book, and go back to a time in history."
Angel's eyes lifted curiously, as she stared at him.
She was lost, and at this point,numb to everything being said.
Nothing else mattered any more to her, if it wasn't going to lead her to finding her daughter.
